I am so stupid I opened the camera and this is what happened. :(
Oh well.
I love this picture.

My 26 year old JIMBO Raw One-shot #1. I bought at the Fantasy and Science Fiction Bookstore in San Antonio Texas when it came out. It blew my little mind.
I cheated in the following ways:
1. I added the word "presents".
2. I refreshed the album title once, because the first thing sucked.
1. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random
The first article title on the page is the name of your band.
2. www.quotationspage.com/random.php3
The last four words of the very last quote is the title of your album.
3. www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days/
The third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.
(tag it: Cd Cover Meme)
Loving the big 3-1, I got to spend the day with my family hitting up our local favorite Houston shops and eating spots. GREAT lunch at Liberty Kitchen!

This is the first video in the Vietnam Series, In this video I share with you my experience of trying different foods in Vietnam this is more like a vietnamese street food challenge because by the end of this food tour I was soooo full and couldn't even move. Vietnam is known for food and interestingly even food/street food here has its own story.
A cheap, old OM-1 I picked up. It's battered and dirty but it seems to work fine. Quite a tank compared to modern designs yet very compact.

Please not that I am NOT claiming this for #1 - I don't want any trouble, ok ?!

Alright, here's what we're gonna call attempt #1. I decided to open a flickr because I had a blast making this edit and can't wait to do more to show you guys. I also wanted to have a place to put my pics where the quality can be seen a lot better. I'll post more "attempts" later on just to see how much I can improve. Constructive criticism is always welcome!

Page 1: I have used photoshop to manipulate my own work. Also inspired by Hermes, I have experimented with mirroring and repetition.
Page 2: Whilst researching Tokyo to contrast with me original theme of the Hutongs, I have researched Japan's culture as well such as the Geisha. Geishas are well known for their traditional ways within the Japanese culture and are usually seen as the pinical of traditional Japan. I have combined current and modern mediums with a traditional example to also create a surrealist approach to my work.

I started actively using Ravelry a few weeks ago, and it's shifted my behaviour in several substantial ways.
1. I now have a forum I visit multiple times a day, and check obsessively to see if anyone has replied (appreciate me, please!). This of course means that I can no longer nag Kyle about spending so much time on NeoGAF...
2. I crochet, obsessively. I spend all my spare time (and even some non spare time) crocheting, and I've started writing patterns too. Before Ravelry, I crocheted because I had promised people that I'd make them afghans. Now I crochet because I want to CREATE.
3. I have turned my photography towards more... practical matters. I spend a lot of time photographing my crafts, and I spent an obscene amount of time photographing my stash (i.e. yarn collection). Who takes photos of their yarn? I do I do!

Found at a thrift shop for $1, I think. Irresistible!
I'd love to find out more about it, since there's no maker's mark and it was the only one at the shop. Online searches haven't been much help.

Finding My Way post: Gettysburg Reenactment 08-1
There was a shiny day today. So I decided to continou my 100 stranger project… I had a little succes this afternoon. First I tried to discuss the project with a group of skaterboarder but they did not want to participate in it… so I left them and went to the Bazilika.
There were lot of tourist there but in huge groups so I could not separate them. Than I saw them: four people were sitting on the stairs they were resting. I made a few photo around them than I asked them to be my models and they did.
We did not talk much… but I learned that they came to Budapest from Netherland. They liked the city and the would go home on Wednesday.
Thank you Anthon (I hope i spelled correctly) and your family for participate in my project.
There are a few conclusions:
1. I have to improve my communication skills

My first secret, well it's not really a secret but it's something that I cannot abide... wonky pictures / photos / mirrors on walls. Even if I'm in someone elses house and I see a wonky picture I have to straighten it.
I'm forever doing it in our house as we have lots of paintings dotted around the house, I notice if it's only a couple of mm out and it drives me craaaazy!
Image 1 - I also created an artwork of a traditional Bruneian bride for a local exhibition last year, done in soft pastels. this was where I began to set my interest and was rather mesmerized by the beauty when I spontaneously looked for inspirational pictures from local magazines.
Image 2 - An artwork I have completed digitally, however based on the traditional Bruneian Muslim bride wear, nevertheless beautiful and 'pure' looking at first sight.
Image 3 - An artwork I have done with acrylics based on Brunei's culture, where I also began to like painting women in traditional outfits (this one was based on a Bruneian traditional dancing outfit). This painting was for a Japanese cultural festival competition, where I scored 4th place. Here I have also inserted a quick sketch of a traditional Bruneian dancer in colour pencils, looking rather similar in terms of the headdress and the accessories used as the traditional Bruneian brides.
I fixed the annoying flickr logo..
1. I put a drop shadow on there, people love drop shadows.
2. bevel! another thing people can't get enough of.

I still think we should be using cooper black for the flickr font.
1. I quitted my 365 photos project. Reason? I'm too lazy to go to the computer everyday.
2. Yes, I got my hair cut. And I love it!

Monday after a faire weekend. I'm editing photos and this week, I had a few videos to edit.
A few things...
1. I've learned that my video shooting skills SUCK with this camera because I can't stand still. If I stand still, the chronic pain issues flare up and nobody wants that. So, without a tripod, we get shaky video.
2. My hair... I love my hair, but its driving me nuts. This weekend is closing weekend and I'm contemplating having it all cut off again. I wake up in the night with it attacking me. Hot flashes are worse with it sticking to my face. I hate wearing my hair up and I only do it when I go to faire. And when I cook dinner, because, well, gross, right?
3. I love this T-shirt. I got it one size too big, for comfort and it came in the mail today... but, I've apparently lost a little weight since the start of faire season (two months ago) and it is way more than "one size too big". So, yay!
I have been tagged by Simon in a fact thing. So, here are some facts.
1. I like marmite.
2. My longest consecutive relationship was about a day.
3. I have technically drummed for the band Dananananaykroyd. During one of their shows in Wrexham (of which, is where I live), John Bailey Jr. sidled over to me at one point, handed me the keys to his second drum kit, and let me take control of the wheel. It was awesome. And no, I'm not confusing a car for a drum kit, I am merely being whimsical.
4. I have street teamed for the Automatic.
5. I used to create little sketches of fictional album covers for the hell of it, tracklistings and all.
6. I am gay. Cop out one, but I'm running out of ideas for facts. Tbh, I'm not that exciting, history wise.
7. Will & Grace is my favourite Americano sitcom.
8. I prefer film to digital photography.
9. My favourite shop is the COW vintage shop in Birmingham.
10. I like coffee.
