Taken on my iPhone as I walked down the garden after putting our chickens away the other night. I thought how dramatic the newly emerged Amaryllis leaves looked silhouetted through our orange kitchen window blind HSS!
This male coastal brown bear (Ursus arctos) found a salmon tangled in the purse seine net and quickly retrieved it for a meal. Cook Inlet, Lake Clark National Park. Alaska. Conservation status: Least Concern
Castilla, una tierra llena de historias y de historia, lugar de grandes enfrentamientos y conquistas, donde hombres libres han forjado sus destinos con gran trabajo y valentía.
Recorriendo bellos parajes,
de una castilla,
quizás olvidada.
Tierra durante siglos castigada,
por la acción humana,
a pesar de sus pesares,
conserva la esencia, el todo, su alma....
Muchas gracias a todos!!
Thanks a lot! :D:D:D

This is the last post of this forest serie and I really look forward to more situations like this one with the fog but unfortunately there aren't nearby were I live, unless I do wake up 4 in the morning... nah not me...
The picture had purple fringing (also on some of the previously posted but in this one it was more marcant) therefore I made some heavier editing (denoise, desaturation, illuminate). Sometimes, in my modest opinion, heavier editing give an unexpected positively result and in this case I do like a lot the painterly, artistic look.
A note regarding flickr automatic tags: this time it got it right... The tree trunks do look like columns.. .like remnants of an ancient civilization....

I dont like posting lots of shots from the same location, but I liked the tones in the sea on this one so much I just had to make an exception. Just out of interest please tell me which one of my 2 Durdle door shots you like the best, thanks.
