In der Vergangenheit habe ich es im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes ziemlich bunt getrieben in meinem Stream; das soll sich im neuen Jahr ändern. Den Anfang möchte ich mit einem Motiv machen was Euch "in bunt" bestens bekannt sein dürfte :-))
In the past my stream was a place full of colors; that might change a bit this year. I will make a start with a motive which is likely to be well known "in color" :-))

Started out as just a normal saturday morning's shopping trip but the more I waved my mobile around trying out some pano-vision/sabotage/tumble world moves the stranger it got .....seems shopping is never going to be the same again...!

Abbazia di Morimondo - Il chiostro
Morimondo è un comune italiano di 1 140 abitanti della città metropolitana di Milano in Lombardia. Il territorio è posto sulla riva sinistra del Ticino, con orografia dolcemente digradante verso il fiume interrotta sporadicamente da collinette, depressioni e arginature. Il territorio comunale è vasto e prevalentemente destinato ad uso agricolo.
La storia di Morimondo ruota intorno alle vicende dell'abbazia omonima e dei monaci dell'ordine dei Cistercensi che vi risiedettero. La fondazione della prima chiesa risale al 1134, quando i primi monaci vi arrivarono qui dall'abbazia di Morimond, vicino a Digione. Lentamente bonificarono l'area adiacente al Ticino, vi realizzarono canali di irrigazione e la trasformarono in fertile zona agricola con coltivazione a marcite. Nel 1182 iniziò l'edificazione della chiesa attualmente esistente tutta in laterizio, con facciata a capanna e tiburio ottagonale sulla crociera. Nell'interno a tre navate su pilastri con volte a crociera: a destra acquasantiera trecentesca e, alla parete della navata un affresco strappato di Bernardino Luini. L'edificio venne ampliato e decorato con coro ligneo intagliato. Del chiostro, rifatto nel sec. XV-XVI, solo un'ala è originale; accanto è la sala capitolare di forme cistercensi, a due navate.
