did anyone notice a small cute bud between them ? ... this is the explanation for the title :)
Arar, sembrar, segar, hacer gavillas, acarrear la mies, trillar, cosechar… Un microrrelato en el que se recuerdan los viejos y duros oficios de las gentes del campo:
—¡Padre, padre… déjeme las botas… que yo iré a arar, que ya se uncir las vacas!—; así le dijo el hijo a su padre, pues veía que el duro trabajo de arar era terrible, y su padre traía las manos ajadas del frío y de tirar del ronzal y guiar.
—¡Madre, póngale a padre manteca en las manos y envuélvaselas en los trapos limpios de lino!—. Y así pasó el duro invierno después de la siembra. Era por principios de julio, cuando en las plazas se ponían aquellos segadores a hoz, para que los contrataran… venían del Bierzo y de la Galicia de interior, y mientras segaban cantaban… —“Ya vienen los segadores en busca de sus amores, después de segar y segar…”—, mientras iban haciendo gavillas; al día siguiente venían los carreteros a acarrear la mies.
—¡Ten cuidado con la purridera… que la carga el diablo!,— le gritaba el que estaba encima del carro, al que le subía las gavillas con aquella larga horca… y así se cargaban los carros que luego había que llevar a las eras. A veces moría una vaca, y bueno, el burro para trillar… había que uncir vaca con burro. “Cien haces son suficientes para una “parva” señera…”.
—¡A la trilla, trilladoras, que el alba amarilla brilla!—. Después de trillar había que aventar para separar el grano de la paja, al atardecer se hacía esa labor, con la brisa y lanzando la mies al viento; luego llegaron las máquinas manuales, las beldadoras… “Era por julio y agosto, la beldadora se atragantaba con tanta mies… ese año no hacía hambre en las casas del silencio”…

Situado en la comarca de Sayago, de relieve ondulado y cercano el río Tormes que le daba ese clima típico de arribanzo donde viñas, árboles frutales, pastos, tierras de cultivo, encinas y robles, le configuraba a Argusino un lugar de variado ecosistema y buen hábitat para sus habitantes.
Fué siempre un pueblo admirado gracias a su localización por otros pueblos de la comarca cercanos. Tenía un batán, molino, fuentes, barca…contaba con una población de unos 400 habitantes allá por el año 1960.
En vias de un progreso se decidió durante los años 60 la creación de una presa con su correspondiente pantano que ocuparía el pueblo de Argusino y buena parte de su territorio.
El 17 de septiembre de 1967 fué anegado el pueblo de Argusino por la aguas del embalse de Almendra, las familias fueron indemnizadas, el pueblo fué dinamitado y destruido ya antes de la llegada de las aguas, sus vecinos tuvieron que buscarse otras localidades para vivir ya que ni siquiera se tuvo la consideración de hacerles un pueblo nuevo como en otros ejemplos y casos de la misma índole que han sucedido en la geografía española, ni tan solo esto.
Pasaron los años y en una vida a todo color y sin fotos en blanco y negro los argusinejos siguen sin olvidar aquel sitio donde vivieron y se preguntan como hubiera sido la vida sin ese cambio de origenes.
A día de hoy Argusino queda en este lugar de Sayago, en una Zamora bien poblada de embalses que sigue olvidada pero no dormida.(Asociacion Cultural Argusino Vive)

They'll eat out of your hand near the Nature Center at Michigan's Kensington Metropark. This female Downy Woodpecker and the hand she is perched on were processed in black and white for Monochrome Bokeh Thursday.

The mangrove swallow (tachycineta albilinea) is a passerine bird in the swallow family that breeds in coastal regions from Mexico through Central America to Panama. It eats small, flying insects, including large species such as dragonflies and bees.

Toulouse nació a orillas del río Garona, fresca, hermosa y acuática.
Tal vez por ello la capital histórica de la provincia del Languedoc y del departamento del Alto Garona fue perdiendo murallas a medida que iba ganando canales, y tal vez por ello la Ciudad Rosa, así llamada por el color de sus ladrillos, invita a un recorrido por sus aguas centelleantes.
En ellas se reflejan árboles soberbios, puentes centenarios y molinos medievales.
Pasear por la orilla del rio Garonne entre el Pont Neuf y el puente de Saint Pierre y entre este y el de los catalanes es una delicia. Zona de ocio donde los jóvenes se sientan en la orilla del rio para pasar la tarde.

Τα Κορέστεια είναι μια ιστορική περιοχή της Δυτικής Μακεδονίας. Πρόκειται για μια συστάδα ορεινών οικισμών (Άνω και Κάτω Κρανιώνα, Χάλαρα, Άνω και Κάτω Μελάς, Μακροχώρι, Μαυρόκαµπος, Άγιος Αντώνιος, Γάβρος) που παρουσιάζουν έντονο αρχιτεκτονικό και πολιτισμικό ενδιαφέρον. Η παραδοσιακή αρχιτεκτονική των χωριών είναι ιδιαίτερη για την περιοχή της Δυτικής Μακεδονίας. Τα παλαιά σπίτια είναι κατασκευασμένα με πλίνθους με κοκκινόχωμα και άχυρο, που δίνουν το κοκκινωπό χρώμα στο τοπίο της περιοχής. Ο τρόπος κατασκευής των σπιτιών διατηρήθηκε έως τα μέσα του 20ου αιώνα και έπειτα εγκαταλείφθηκε.
Korestia is a historic region of Western Macedonia in Greece. It’s a cluster of mountain villages (Ano and Kato Kranionas, Halara, Ano and Kato Melas, Makrochori, Mavrokampos, Agios Antonios, Gavros) exhibiting strong architectural and cultural interest. The traditional architecture of the villages is great for the region of Western Macedonia. Old houses are constructed with handmade bricks with red clay and straw, giving a reddish color to the landscape. The construction of the houses was maintained until the mid-20th century and then abandoned.

The Rochers de Naye (French, lit. "rocks of Naye"; 2,042 metres (6,699 ft)) are a mountain of the Swiss Alps, overlooking Lake Geneva near Montreux and Villeneuve, in the canton of Vaud. They lie on the range separating the basin of Lake Geneva from the valley of the Sarine, on the watershed between the Rhone and the Rhine. The mountain is partially located in the canton of Fribourg, the border between the two cantons culminating on a lower summit named Grande Chaux de Naye (1,982 metres (6,503 ft)).
The Rochers de Naye are easily accessible from Montreux, where the highest railway in the canton, the Montreux–Glion–Rochers-de-Naye, starts. From the summit station (1,968 metres (6,457 ft)), only a short walk is necessary to reach the summit. In addition, it is also possible to access the summit by driving to Col de Jaman and then making the 2-3 hr hike to the peak.
The Rochers de Naye are also known for the Rochers de Naye Via Ferrata[3] considered to be extremely difficult (ED), the Grottes de Naye (caves which are accessible via the trail between Col de Jaman and Rochers de Naye), and a few enclosures hosting marmots from around the world.

On peut accéder au sommet des rochers de Naye soit à pied, soit par le chemin de fer Montreux-Glion-Rochers de Naye, une ligne de chemin de fer longue de 10,36 km, à voie unique à crémaillère qui couvre en 55 minutes une dénivellation de 1 600 mètres et qui dessert aussi Glion et Caux. Il s'agit de la plus haute voie ferrée du canton. La gare sommitale abrite aussi un restaurant et un hôtel. Il n'y a pas d'accès pour les automobiles au-delà de Caux.

The Salt Lake Temple is a temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located on Temple Square in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. At 253,015 square feet, it is the largest LDS temple by floor area.
The Laugavegur is a famous trekking route in South-West Iceland from the hot springs area of Landmannalaugar to the glacial valley of Þórsmörk . It is noted for the wide variety of landscapes on its 55 km (34 mi) path. The route is typically completed over 2–4 days with potential stops at the mountain huts at Hrafntinnusker, Álftavatn, Hvanngil and Emstrur. An ultramarathon is held on the route each July. It is possible to combine the trek with the Fimmvörðuháls route which goes over the pass from Þórsmörk to Skógar for an additional one or two days or an additional 25 km (16 mi). Landmannalaugar, Þórsmörk, and Skógar are all reachable by bus during the summer. A bus from Hella connects with Álftavatn once a day during the summer.
