A brand new early autumn day at our local nature reserve. The stars are beginning to fade, one by one. I thought this scene so beautiful I made a panorama. I hope you like it too - I am so blessed living near this lovely place. All too soon autumn will turn to winter - so let's make the most of it !
All textures my own, edited using PicMonkey and Picasa.
And some black : -) Same spot as the previous recent uploads, but a very different atmosphere again.
Happy Monochrome Monday!
The succulent Kalanchoe species, popularly known as flower-of-fortune (Kalanchoe blossfeldiana), is super easy to care for. This is because it is resistant to climatic variations, does not need constant irrigation and has excellent adaptation to indoor and outdoor environments. In addition, in the same species there are variations such as the cat's ear (Kalanchoe tomentosa), the mother of thousands (Kalanchoe laetivirens), among others.
When the flowers are simple they are called Kalanchoe.
And when the flowers are folded (multiple petals) Calandivas.

After being in Tasmania for 10 days and nights we had a starry sky to shoot for a few hours
We arrived here about 11pm after capturing the sunset at Binalong Bay
I got up at 3am to capture this as I needed to wait for the Milkyway to position itself east/west over the Eddystone Point Lighthouse in the Bay of Fires .
There was suppose to be low level Aurora activity most of that week
I used the parking lights on my car to light the lighthouse
I probably should have still lightpainted the immediate foreground
The grounds here were full of wildlife including several wombats feeding on the fresh grass shoots
I went back for a quick sleep before sunrise only to wake to a windy and wet change , so I just got these shots
This is a seven shot stitch

The width of the area ranges between 500 and 2500 meters.
Thanks for your visit and comments, I appreciate that very much!
