The reflections of adjacent buildings are bent and twisted in the polished stainless steel skin of Anish Kapoor’s Cloud Gate, colloquially known as “The Bean”, in Millennium Park, Chicago.
The building in this shot is Ossians Hall a Folly at the Hermitage in Perthshire. The trees are just starting to turn there now, in another couple of weeks it will be spectacular but unfortunately I am away (on another holiday) so will miss this.
I used a polariser on this just to cut the reflections on the rocks and the leaves, this and an ND grad helped to take the exposure time down to 1 second which was just enough to keep some structure in the water, while smoothing it out.

I rarely saw such a fantastically beautiful evening sky as here on a bay in the north of the Isle of Skye, left the ruins of Duntolm Castle (June, 3, 2010, 10:36 pm).

At the Scheidplatz square is a major interchange of the same name from bus to tram to subway.
Here we are on tram tracks while in the distance one line 12 tram is about to leave (away from me, just to state that).

We were taking the ‘Funivia Fedaia Marmolada’ up the highest peak in the Italian Dolomites – Mount Marmolada (3,343 m). This cable car was not much more than a shopping cart that you stand in and hope that it doesn’t stop halfway up. The wind was brutal and cold, so taking a photo without dropping my camera into the abyss was scary. About midway, I got this shot of what I believe to be the Sella group. If you know the names of these mountains, please let me know.

Fradley Junction is a canal junction between Fradley and Alrewas near Lichfield, Staffordshire, England and the point at which the Coventry Canal joins the Trent and Mersey Canal. This is looking down towards Keepers Lock from a bridge near the Swan Pub. I didn't go in the pub, it was such a lovely day I just took loads of photos. Here is the first - hope you like it. I textured it, using a combination of my own and a lovely texture from Pongo 2007 - thank you Christy !

Not sure about the location on Flickr's map ... the postcode is DE13 7DN if you'd like to visit - well worth it, lots to do for the children and adults alike. Pub, cafe, wildlife centre, holiday park buried in the trees. And, of course, the canal !

Crupet is a village of Wallonia and a district of the municipality of Assesse, located in the province of Namur, Belgium.
Until 1977, it was itself a municipality.
It is a member of the organisation Les Plus Beaux Villages de Wallonie (French; in English: Most Beautiful Villages in Wallonia).
The Castle of Crupet, a 13th Century medieval farm-chateau is situated below the village centre, and a little to the north, next to the river.
