"Look Into My Dreams, Awilda" is a 39 foot resin sculpture by Spanish artist Jaume Plensa presently on display in Chicago's Millennium Park. Plensa previously created "Crown Fountain," one of the park's centerpiece attractions.

Taken from the footbridge at that intersection. Here Yan'an Road also changes it's designation from West Yan'an Road (延安西路) to Middle Yan'an Road (延安中路).
The blue illuminated part is Yan'an Viaduct Road (延安高架路), the main west-east traffic artery in Shanghai.

The architect is Santiago Calatrava, a designer of a number of innovative bridges and buildings.

Mercer County Courthouse is an historic county courthouse located at Mercer, Mercer County, Pennsylvania. It was designed by the noted Youngstown architectural firm of Owsley & Boucherle and built in 1910-1911. It is a three-story, rectangular red brick and light sandstone building in the Beaux-Arts style It measures 180 feet wide and 92 feet deep. It features a tall bell and clock tower. Also on the property are the contributing resources: the Mercer County Soldiers' Monument and old Mercer County Jail, or South Court House Annex
The eastern basin of the Ismaninger Speichersee, a reservoir in the north of Munich, built in 1929 to regulate the water flow for the run-of-the-river power plants along the Isar Canal.
The reservoir and the adjacent fish ponds are a nature reserve (Europareservat) and an Important Bird Area (IBA).

The Magdalenenklause is a hermitage, designed as an artificial ruin, located in the Nymphenburg Palace Park.
The purpose of the building was to serve as a memento mori for the Elector (Kurfürst) Max Emanuel - he was supposed to visit the building and contemplate the transience of being alive and a ruler.
Unfortunately Max Emanuel did not live long enough to see the building completed - sic transit gloria...

The road crosses the desert under a stunning sky full of clouds and light streaks on the land. In the American deserts is easy to view this kind of spectacular scenarios, and it is not possible to get bored photographing them.
Another 2-day weekend trip.
The Monastery Cathedral, built in 10th -11th century.
The other important Temple of the Monastery is the Temple of Saint John Chrysostom built as an ancient basilica. Church architect Aleksey Gornostayev (built in 19th century).
His work also: Orthodox Uspenski Cathedral in Helsinki, Valaam Monastery hermitages and much more.

The capture of a flaring ray sunset from Veterans Bridge. I was actually jogging on Market Street Bridge (behind Walnut in the foreground) and saw how the sun's rays were flaring this particular evening....so I sprinted the mile (or so) to catch it setting from said vantage point....JUST made it!

The Laugavegur is a famous trekking route in South-West Iceland from the hot springs area of Landmannalaugar to the glacial valley of Þórsmörk . It is noted for the wide variety of landscapes on its 55 km (34 mi) path. The route is typically completed over 2–4 days with potential stops at the mountain huts at Hrafntinnusker, Álftavatn, Hvanngil and Emstrur. An ultramarathon is held on the route each July. It is possible to combine the trek with the Fimmvörðuháls route which goes over the pass from Þórsmörk to Skógar for an additional one or two days or an additional 25 km (16 mi). Landmannalaugar, Þórsmörk, and Skógar are all reachable by bus during the summer. A bus from Hella connects with Álftavatn once a day during the summer.
