The Rococo interior of the Freising Cathedral - some change history below:
The cathedral of Freising was built in Romanesque style from 1159 to 1205. First change to the interior was the replacement of the flat Romanesque wooden ceiling by a Gothic vault ceiling during 1481 to 1483. In a further change during the Baroque period the Gothic vault ribs were removed, the final change was the Rococo decoration created around 1724 by the brothers Cosmas Damian Asam and Egid Quirin Asam.

Exploring the sand dunes along the shores of Lake Michigan in Michigan City, Indiana. The sunset was a bust, but a day at the beach still beats a day pretty much anywhere else.

Ruins in sunset light. The Eldena Monastery dates to 1199, but was severely damaged in the Thirty Years' War. From that onwards decay ruled the place - the fact that the citizens of Greifswald used the ruins as a bricks quarry didn't help either...

This castle also served as model and inspiration for the "Sleeping Beauty Castles" in several Disneyland resorts as well as the "Excalibur Hotel and Casino" in Las Vegas.

The Como arm of the lake lies to its south west, the Lecco arm of the lake to its south east. At the northern point of the triangle sits Bellagio, looking across to the northern arm of the lake and, behind it, the Alps. It has always been famous for its location.

No, this is not the actual name of this recumbent bronze statue.
The four recumbent statues on the Wittelsbacherbrunnen in the Brunnenhof of the Residenz palace in the city center shall symbolize the four main Bavarian rivers: Donau, Isar, Inn and Lech.
Due to weathing of the fountain base it is unfortunately not quite clear which of these figures represents which river exactly.
BTW: Munich has 2 fountains named Wittelsbacherbrunnen, the other is located on the Lenbachplatz square.
