Nunca había visto tan bajo el embalse de Riaño, se podría decir que estaba semivacío, aún así conserva la belleza de esos picos tan caracterísiticos.

La tour César est un donjon du XIIeme siècle bâti par les comte de Champagne. Sa particularité c'est que c'est le seul donjon octogonal à base carrée connu. Les anglais ont entouré le donjon d'une muraille pendant la guerre de cent ans. La tour doit son nom à une légende locale qui fait remonter l'origine de Provins à l'époque romaine et qui dit que la tour fut bâtie par Jules César.

Tower César

The tower César is the XIIth century dungeon built by the Count of Champagne. Its uniqueness is that it is the only known octagonal dungeon square base. The English surrounded the dungeon of a wall during the Hundred Years War. The tower is named after a local legend which traces the origin of Provins in Roman times and says that the tower was built by Julius Caesar.

Corby Rose Garden was originally owned by a prominent business man named Henry Corby who moved to Belleville from England in 1832.

Over the years Mr. Corby and his family had been instrumental in encouraging and assisting Belleville in its growth as a community. A neighboring town that housed the family distillery was named Corbyville in his honor.

Corby Park, as it was titled, was donated to the city of Belleville in 1905.

Elands Bay is a town in South Africa, situated in the Western Cape Province, on the Atlantic Ocean. The town is located about 220 kilometres (two and a half hours drive) north from Cape Town. It is a major surfing location and is also noted for its caves, which have a number of rock paintings.

In 2009, Heritage Western Cape declared the Elands Bay Cave and most of Baboon Point (Cape Deseada), on which it is located, as a provincial heritage site. Eland's Bay along with much of this coastline is an "important" bird habitat. The local wetland, Verloerenvlei, is a Ramsar wetland.

Este es el último repecho del Auza, monte que preside el precioso y espectacular valle de Baztan, en Nafarroa, a pocos kilometros de la frontera y de otros lugares interesantes como las cuevas de Zugarramurdi o Urdax. Esta sombra invita a una última parada para echar un trago y afrontar la cuesta final. Las vistas merecen la pena, así como la propia cima de la montaña.

Die Schmalspurbahn „Molli“ fährt bereits seit dem Jahre 1886 von Bad Doberan nach Heiligendamm. Im Jahre 1908 wurde die Strecke bis zum Ostseebad Kühlungsborn verlängert. Die gesamte Streckenlänge beträgt ca. 15 km.

The narrow-gauge railway "Molli" runs since 1886 on the track Bad Doberan - Heiligendamm. In 1908 the line was extended to Kühlungsborn. The total distance is about 15 km.

I had seen this ethanol plant as I drove by numerous times, and thought it might be fun to photograph. This time I actually took a few minutes to stop and give it a try. This photo was made from two images merged together to make it somewhat of a panoramic shot.
