Windmill in the Freilichtmuseum Detmold, Lippe, Germany. The LWL-Freilichtmuseum in Detmold is a great place to learn about and to experience the world of our ancestors. The open-air-museum is covered with buildings, tools, animals and plants of countryside life in Northwest Germany in the last couple of centuries. The sky wasn't too spectacular for my sunrise photo shoot this New Year's Eve morning, but it was great to be out at Fisherman's Terminal in Seattle, WA.
Alles was wir am Sonntag Morgen nach dem Flohmarkt noch entdecken konnten war ein kleines Notenbuch auf einem Pfeiler. Das man entweder nicht wollte, oder schlicht und einfach vergessen hatte.
Everything we could still discover on the Sunday morning after the flea market was a small sheet music on a pillar. That one would have descended or simply forgotten.

I went to Milarrochy Bay yesterday to shot the famous tree in the water, only to discover that it was about 3 feet out of the water! So I found this nice little composition instead.
why does this happen? why is it that sometimes we're given sights like this out of the blue? it was just a regular road with trees all around i was driving in and suddenly i was forced to stop and behold this. the light kept on transforming herself while i just sat back in my car. the music was loud and shouting "Crazy" from that also beautiful piece called "The Wall". it felt like my soul was out there.

Eine Stockente und eine Pekingente - das ungewöhnliche Entenpaar schwimmt glücklich durch den Yachthafen in Grömitz
Nunca habÃa visto tan bajo el embalse de Riaño, se podrÃa decir que estaba semivacÃo, aún asà conserva la belleza de esos picos tan caracterÃsiticos.
En Cadavedo ademas de la Regalina, un bonito rincón muy conocido por celebrarse allà la fiesta de la Regalina, esta también esta playa con unas cuantas cosas muy interesantes que ver y por supuesto fotografiar.

This is one of the small fishing villages in the East Nuek of Fife, Scotland. The shot was taken just before sunrise just as the sun was adding colour to the sky. I went for a long exposure to soften the cloud and just calm the sea which had very slight movement.
If waiting for my last long exposure was like hell because of the midges, then this one was like heaven as everything was so calm and peaceful expect for the birds singing to welcome the new day, plus I've got my D810 back and it is working like a dream, i missed the detail that it catches.
