The sky wasn't too spectacular for my sunrise photo shoot this New Year's Eve morning, but it was great to be out at Fisherman's Terminal in Seattle, WA.
En el pueblo costero asturiano de Cadavedo en la playa de Fontaniecha se encuentra esta roca llamada menhir de Fontaniecha, una de las muchas rocas peculiares que hay por esa zona
Espero sea de vuestro agrado

The Salt Lake Temple is a temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located on Temple Square in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. At 253,015 square feet, it is the largest LDS temple by floor area.
This is one of the small fishing villages in the East Nuek of Fife, Scotland. The shot was taken just before sunrise just as the sun was adding colour to the sky. I went for a long exposure to soften the cloud and just calm the sea which had very slight movement.
If waiting for my last long exposure was like hell because of the midges, then this one was like heaven as everything was so calm and peaceful expect for the birds singing to welcome the new day, plus I've got my D810 back and it is working like a dream, i missed the detail that it catches.
Enough of Winter and Winter shots. Sharp-minded viewers already noted that I posted Winter shots for 3 weeks, whereas we had only snow for 5 days.... So it is time to come back to some Summer shots I did not post yet. Spring can come now. Blavand, Denmark
Another classic view of London towards the Shard and City Hall across the Thames from Tower Bridge. Cool winter evening with plenty of crisp, clear air around.

October waved goodby with sunshine and warm tempereratures and we used the perfect weather for an extended hiking tour on the Wittedindsweg, a crest trail on the Wiehengebirge from Porta Westfalica in the East to the Osnabrück area in the West. Before the sun went down we visited the most interesting spots of the Eastern part of the trail.
Haurvig Kirke and cemetry. The most peaceful place on earth I know. Dedicated to the victims of the terror attack in Nice. May god bless their souls.

The valley of Wittlich very close to where I live has as Tuscany abundant morning mist and fields to offer ... just no cypresses. This morning shortly after sunrise.
Die Wittlicher Senke ganz in der Nähe meines Wohnorts hat wie die Toskana reichlich Morgennebel und Felder zu bieten...nur keine Zypressen. Heute morgen kurz nach Sonnenaufgang.

Elands Bay is a town in South Africa, situated in the Western Cape Province, on the Atlantic Ocean. The town is located about 220 kilometres (two and a half hours drive) north from Cape Town. It is a major surfing location and is also noted for its caves, which have a number of rock paintings.
In 2009, Heritage Western Cape declared the Elands Bay Cave and most of Baboon Point (Cape Deseada), on which it is located, as a provincial heritage site. Eland's Bay along with much of this coastline is an "important" bird habitat. The local wetland, Verloerenvlei, is a Ramsar wetland.
Many thanks to everyone for your visit, comments and faves! Much appreciated! 😊
Have a nice Friday!
The tower César is the XIIth century dungeon built by the Count of Champagne. Its uniqueness is that it is the only known octagonal dungeon square base. The English surrounded the dungeon of a wall during the Hundred Years War. The tower is named after a local legend which traces the origin of Provins in Roman times and says that the tower was built by Julius Caesar.
... for a happy weekend !
Lilies of the valley / Maiglöckchen (Convallaria majalis)
in our garden - Frankfurt-Nordend
This is a place where the water has shaped the sand in some unbelievable forms. An adventurer walks in a silk labyrinth, dyed with the most fabulous tones of red and yellow up to the blues and the purples. The time has achieved a result that no stylist will never reach. A photographer cannot get bored in a place like this. Me neither.

There is hardly a better place in my area to enjoy a perfect Autumn day than the open-air -museum in Detmold. We spent a whole day in beautiful sunshine without a cloud in this lovely location.
The LWL-Freilichtmuseum in Detmold is a great place to learn and experience the world of our ancestors. The open-air-museum is covered with buildings, tools, animals and plants of countryside life in Northwest Germany in the last couple of centuries. An endless source of inspiration for HDR photography.
This was captured under the the northern Seastack at El Matador State Beach.
Hope you like it!!! :)
