still very warm, still very dry would be the short description of this week-end. We had a great time with the start of the pike-fishing season and enjoyed the perfect weather. River Werre near Bad Oeynhausen, Ostwestfalen, Germany. Have a great week ahead.

Destaca la singularidad y belleza del paisaje que forman estos olivos centenarios y que dan lugar a una singular retÃcula de caminos ortogonales con más de 500 ejemplares de más de cinco siglos de vida y que es el resultado de una idea original que por primera vez se acometÃa en Galicia.
Olivar que se ha hecho majestuoso, por su porte y belleza, en una región como Galicia donde este cultivo se encuentra limitado por las condiciones climáticas propias del Atlántico que, sin embargo, acoge en este rincón al árbol más Mediterráneo.
Los caminos abrigados por esta arboleda dibujan una estampa única, romántica… donde al pasear bajo los olivos, éstos envuelven al caminante y lo sumergen en el misterio y la magia que sólo es posible respirar en Galicia.

Wenn man ein wenig abseits der bekannten Wege von Rothenburg geht, gelangt man ausserhalb der Stadtmauern in das Tal wo der Fluss Tauber fließt. Hier steht diese wunderschöne mittelalterliche Brücke und daneben gleich ein entzückendes Fachwerkhäuschen.
If you are a little off the known paths of Rothenburg, you get outside the city walls into the valley where the River Tauber flows. Here stands this beautiful medieval bridge and next to it an enchanting half-timbered house.

Das Grödner Joch ist ein 2121 m hoher Gebirgspass in den Südtiroler Dolomiten. Er verbindet Gröden mit dem Gadertal bzw. die Gemeinden Wolkenstein und Corvara.
Too unsafe to walk on this jetty but there are literally hundreds of shags and seabirds that have made their home on it.

The sun is actually rising, but I would not want to let a little matter of geography and timing spoil a good title.
One of the privileges of my job is to see many interesting places in Europe and beyond. Unfortunately schedules are mainly very tight and there is no time to make use of the camera. This week I had a couple of appointments in Belgium in the Province of Oost Vlaanderen. A business partner showed me around in Gent, besides Bruges the second pearl of the area. I enjoyed a great time in this beautiful city.
Quite dull weather here in East-Westphalia today. Time to pick a picture of a nice Summer sunset around the Danish West Coast. Blavand, Jylland, Denmark
Wonderfully refreshing and a great landscape experience is a hike through the watercourse in the gorge of the Virgin River, especially on hot summer days.

It was only afterwards that I notice that though this side of the bridge is set in Autumn, the opposite side seems to be set in Winter. I really dont know as I got hopelessly lost there on that particular day. Maybe Im still there!!!! Id better check!!!! You know what? To hell with it, if I am I like it here and Im staying!

This week´s business trip took me to Belgium into the Province of West-Flanders where I spent one Day in Brugge. Unfortunately the weather was a nightmare, nevertheless I enjoyed the city very much.
