It has been raining every day since I came back from New York, so I've not been out with my camera. When I saw the forecast for yesterday I knew I had to get out and go somewhere stunning. So it was back to Glen Etive at sunrise to catch the sun lighting up Bauchaille Etive Mor.

Similar to June this month showed changing weather conditions with mainly warm temperatures but humid air and thunderstorms with occasional rain. This weekend was very fine and even hot so we used the time to visit a couple of windmills in the Minden area.
Belle Tout lighthouse on Beachy Head was built in 1832 but it's now decommissioned and a B&B - you can get a room with a view of the English Channel ( with the added bonus of the battling elements ) - all for £200 a night 😳 Hopefully, the B&B will not get eroded while you sleep...

Mein Gefühl sagt mir, dass wir uns vom diesjährigen Winter bereits verabschieden können. Servus! A bissl länger hättest schon bleiben dürfen!

I've passed this rickety barn many times and have always marveled that the last big storm didn't blow it down. Today, I figured I'd better get a shot of it because I'm sure next time I drive by it will be a silo surrounded by a stack of kindling.
:-)
October 2020 edited to add: I drove by here a few weeks ago and a windstorm during the summer seems to have created the predicted pile of kindling surrounding the still-standing silo.
With all the development going on around here the farm buildings are fast disappearing--whether the wrecking ball comes from nature .... or human nature.

This week´s business trip took me to Belgium into the Province of West-Flanders where I spent one Day in Brugge. Unfortunately the weather was a nightmare, nevertheless I enjoyed the city very much.
