One Steller Jay named HeyYou AKA the Mooch. Last seen yesterday robbing a small bird feeder. Suspected victim of a vendetta inspired by a Wanted Dead or Alive poster (below and see following post).

Freddy the Finch is currently being questioned by authorities. Word on the street, Freddy iced the Mooch or hired the hit.

Opinions welcome. Witnesses shall remain anonymous.

Is winter over soon? ;)

It was 12F when I nabbed this Junco this past January.

Sorry for less activity

I was so bussy. catch here 2 photos from 15.10.2017 Near my home

I've been missing my camera and my trails.

On these past weeks I was busy fighting colds and viruses at home.

Counting the days for coming back with my daughter to enjoy our favorite part of life: Nature!

When the uniqueness of a place sings to us like a melody, then we will know, at last, what it means to be at home.

Thank you everyone for your visit, favorites and comments.

I know, I know. I have a reputation for actually enjoying winter...but it has been grey and cold for a couple days now. I like my winters to be sunny!

So while going through the archives, I've been remembering some sweet summer days!

As legend has it long before Cv-19, Lord Berkeley used to sit up on top smoking his pipe, and dangling his feet over the edge enjoying the views hence the name Lord Berkeley's Seat.

The whole face of An Teallach is undercut at this point, so the exposure is dramatic right down to the paddling pool below.

Here's to dipping our toes in the cooling waters again!

PS - special kudos to anyone who can get a bearing on my bright red tent as in "Where's Wally"? Best advice to view in double large for any tryers out there.🎪

Crazy Tuesday.

Took 3 signs to get the message across.

Brunswick, Melbourne

going through my files and found many images of my cats that have crossed the bridge... I really want to add them to my Loveable Pets album....

And to wish everyone a Happy Caturday....

Although no solid plans are in place, in the not to distant future we’ll have to move. The decision was made years ago as soon as our 4 children were all settled many miles from the place we call home, the north east of England. Time dictates it will happen sooner than later. My daughter was born in Bristol, because of work, and we had spent a very happy 3 years there, but for family reasons we moved back home soon after she was born 38 years ago. When we leave one of my biggest regrets will be leaving this coast, it’s Beauty and it’s drama, but one thing I’ll not regret is that I didn’t miss capturing moments like these.

Normally, by early May I would be packing my bags, looking forward to working another Summer season in Norway and Scandinavia, guiding tourists around and showing them the beauty of those countries. So it feels strange to be at home with no plans to head north in the near future. Last year I did a new tour for my company to the Lofoten islands. This is a photographers paradise, and even though I was working I was still able to catch this lovely view of Sakrisøya on a beautiful August day. Four years ago I got a winter shot here: www.flickr.com/photos/adelheids-pictures/26078807660

What do you do, when you wake up and it has been thirty years? Thirty years without a bear hug to make the hurt better. Thirty years without seeing that smile, that is just for you. How do you process the worst day of your life, thirty years later? You try to remember all the good, the little things, but how do you put together the shattered and broken pieces of your heart, because you cannot remember their voice or smell? The feel of their arms holding you and telling you it will all be ok? You do what you have to and move forward, no matter the pain because you know they would want you to do so! I love you, daddy, I lost you thirty years ago today. This is a day I loathe, the very worst day of my life, the day parts of my heart went forever missing. 08/20/1989

I know the song talks about his grandmother. However, switching out grandmother for father this is exactly why I am blue.
