To me, this is the best season to visit Provence….Unfortunately, I can’t go there this year…But, every night, when I lay down on my bed, I smell it thanks to the Lavender Pillow that I’ve got from one of the smallest villages in Provence…. To the memory of my lovely Provence, I initiated a new photo series: Missing Provence. So everything seems to be stopping me getting back to the BWC first covid then petrol shortage ??? and now my fridge is giving up the ghost so money put by to renew my membership will have to go on a new fridge.
This is an old shot but I will get back to see my little beautys as soon as poss as I am missing my squirrel fix.

Missing Melody
While the wind and snow blow around us, I returned in my mind to the past, where we expected snow and wind, and where most birds migrated.
This is a female redpoll. We had several irruptions of them, and took advantage of that in 2015 by opening a kitchen window partway. Joyful!
Been missing getting out so, so much and finally managed to make it for sunrise down at Steetley Pier.
I say sunrise lol! It was raining when we first got there, but hey I was out and nothing was stopping me capturing something, so the brolly was included.
Luckily the rain blew over and although there was no great colour to speak of, I got some lovely light as the clouds started to disperse.
Ive been wanting to capture Steetley from this angle for a while now and luckily with such a high tide I felt it was appropriate.
It gives a real feel for the length of the Pier.
Not been able to go outside due to hurting my back, Shot an amazing Sunset the other day, but nothing in the forground wanted to use it. The Gondola was taken many years ago in Venice

It’s cold outside and it’s only November. What looks to be a long Winter already has me unfortunately already “Missing Spring.” We’ll get by OK.
