Big White Snowboarding
Last Nights theme was all about the trees. The little one didn’t wanna do nothing but trees, once she got a taste of it she was hooked! On our way up to Big White these two poor girls slid off the rode and down a ravine, thank god they didn’t roll over. Tried to pull them out but I didn’t have enough traction. They abandoned their car and hitched a ride into town.
Me and L carried on to the Mountain and it was puking snow! Our very first time experiencing powder!! What a beauty of a day. We got in 5 runs but packed with fun, swerving in & out of trees and getting stuck in knee deep powder. Hit my head on a tree when I tried to avoid running over my daughter, so yeah, thank god for helmets. Broke my speed record too: 43km/h 💪. Thanks to daylight savings time, our last run was the only “night run” and it started getting ridiculously cold too, I could taste blood in my nose if that even makes sense. So sad that next week will be our last time of the season.
