Yummy, yummy, yummy!

 

It's been a little while since I've cooked Beef with Chinese Broccoli (Gai Lan) but it turned out really tasty, even though I may have overcooked the veggies just a little bit!

 

I also made some Chinese Cabbage Rolls, using ground chicken. This was my first time attempting to make cabbage rolls of any kind. Unfortunately, the finely ground chicken that I got was really mushy and wouldn't hold a shape very well. Maybe I should have added some rice to give it a bit more body. I may also have used the wrong cabbage. This one was really thin.

 

Despite the technical difficulties, it tasted really good, especially with the Chinese sausages! Along with the chicken, I had added some dried shrimps, shiitake mushrooms, garlic, seasonings, and some water chestnuts for a nice texture. Maybe I'll try it with ground pork next time.
