A Puppy For Oliver - India's Special Birthday Wish

We are so grateful for your generosity, but there is something special that India really wants... A puppy for her cousin Oliver. Oliver is a wonderful little boy, he enjoys many of the same things that India does. Like India, people are drawn to his smile and gorgeous character! Oliver has been diagnosed with high functioning autism. Every day he amazes his family with his ability to solve puzzles and show his love and affection. Often, he needs the opportunity to be in a quiet place and is most comfortable with little to no light. Oliver’s speech is limited so he rarely speaks and he does not respond to his name. He is very quiet, very fast, and tends to wander. A service dog for Oliver would have so many benefits. The dog would be a trained companion, providing much needed comfort that will ease Oliver's anxiety. Training in search and rescue skills would help keep Oliver safe and give his parents peace of mind. The dog would receive 6 months extensive training for Oliver's specific needs and then monthly classes for the rest of the animal's lifespan.
