He calls them 'my girlies' and they are. They love him dearly. All three are very different but I can promise you, they will be buddies for life. They balance each other out so perfectly. The leader, the fun-lover, and the thoughtful one. Together they face the world knowing they have each other by their side.
The love of cousins. The love of sisters. The love of family. The ties that bind.

We have been away from home this past week. So, I am using this image (taken yesterday) of Ozzy who is a member of my extended family who we are visiting for Happy Caturday 10/21/2023 theme "Sleeping".
Happy Caturday!
The trees were so covered in long strands of mossy hair they seemed like giant Cousin Itt from the Adams Family.

On Sunday we had our youngest granddaughters 1st birthday party. Before the cake eating and gift opening these two cousins (my grandsons) took the Chevy out for a spin. I just love the expressions on their faces. These two get along pretty good and hopefully have a long friendship ahead of them. Myles on the left is 2 and Conner is 4 years old.
It was a good thing the sky was overcast when I took this photo. The full sun would have blown out the highlights where the vivid flowers are.
The "new" roof on the house on the right has been there for decades and I'm still not used to it.

I didn't take this pic, I'm in it! I have always loved this image. I'm in the red coat and pink pants. My Mom told me to roll them up because she didn't want the bottom of my pants to get dirty. These are my cousins and two brothers, they are on the right side and my brother Steve is the tallest. My cousins are a big part of my best childhood memories.
Not sure what these plants are? Perhaps a type of Carex? They rather tickled me though, and made me think of the Addams family!

These are two of my granddaughters - they were born 7 weeks apart and they love each other so much. Whenever one of them is at my house, they are always asking when the other one is coming over. I couldn't resist posting these photos as I love the beautiful sunlight shining around them.

Thank you all for your overwhelming and very kind comments!
This is my 8 day old grandson Oliver with his cousin Ella who was born 5 days before him. This may be a little weird since they are not twins but I thought it was just too cute. We will never ever show this to them when they are older. Might even have to destroy it:)
The red fox is one animal in Minnesota that both city dwellers and country folk can see as the red fox inhabits both areas. This sparkling red-colored animal is a cousin to dogs although I have yet to see a family reunion where both are in attendance.
The Minnesota DNR says that while most cats and dogs are safe from foxes, occasionally a kitten or a miniature dog could be the main course for a fox. There are more foxes around than we see during the day as they are the most active at night.
This particular young fox was in a family of four that played around this log for about 15 minutes while my wife and I were parked on a country road about 10 yards away watching. Every few minutes they would stand on the log and look at us with a mixture of curiosity and apprehension.

this is my cousin, she's the youngest after me out of 12 grandkids. she's 13 and gorgeous. we ran out into the field and woods during the family reunion and found a fantastic spot in the woods. it was a lot of fun even with trekking out through a field, not noticing the path five feet from us and destroying our feet.

robertico wrestling with his baby cousin, caught by surprise with my camera flash. these are two of the four cousins who lived in the home where i stayed during my visit in 2001. they were much more like siblings than cousins; it was a delight to watch all their interactions.
From a combined family shoot the first of this year. They were all such a good looking and fun bunch.
"Cousin Monday" is portrayed by a Momoko Quietude Dedication doll rebodied on to a TBLeague S26A body.
The character of Cousin Monday is a "Version 2.0" reimagining of a character created by member werepuppy on the Dollieh Sanctuary forum, loosely based on The Addams Family franchise.
