Sunda Streets - Batavia

I've always loved the sound of the word #batavia - it just sounds like it belongs with sailing ships and harbors. This photo of North #Jakarta near the port of #sundakelapa was taken in 1990 when visiting #kotatua to see this historic area established as the trading port for the East India Company after the 1650s.
