The two drug dealers who appear at the beginning of this video clip of Foo Fighters, trying to camouflage drugs on the plane, are Jack Black and Kyle Gass, two musicians who make up the rock group Tenacious D. This song will never be the best song of the rock history, even if the lyrics say so. Nor will they be remembered as one of the best rock bands. PS: There is one thing I don't like about this photo... the use of pesticides. I prefer organic, ecological and sustainable crops. Pesticides kill insects. If the insects die, the birds have no food. And every day that passes, there are fewer birds... simply because there are no insects. The only species that is a plague on Earth... is humans.

PS: And as explained in ecology and ecosystems or the same words of the best ecologist, oceanographer and limnologist, Ramón Margalef... no plague can survive. Sooner or later... all the plagues, they finish and they are extinguished.

C’est à la sollicitude de la famille d’Armand qu’est due la construction de l’église Notre-Dame. Datée de 1602 par des textes, elle a pris la suite d’un édifice ruiné par les guerres de Religion. Elle était jadis entourée du cimetière. Il s'agit de l’église paroissiale, bien qu’elle soit curieusement excentrée par rapport à l’agglomération agglutinée au pied du château, où se trouve la chapelle Saint-Roch.

L'édifice est conforme aux façons de bâtir les petites églises rurales dans la région à cette époque. Elle se compose d’une nef unique de deux travées voûtées en berceau surbaissé et d’un chœur plus étroit, voûté plus bas de la même manière, suivi d’une abside de même largeur, voûtée en cul-de-four. Une petite sacristie au nord, une chapelle rectangulaire au sud, des tribunes en bois dans la seconde travée de la nef, pour augmenter les capacités d’accueil, et un clocher-arcade juché sur le chœur ont été aménagés au cours des siècles suivants. La nef a conservé sa chaire à prêcher en noyer sculpté du XVIIe s. (classée M. H.). Dans la chapelle sud, le tableau d’autel représente la Madone du Rosaire entre saint Dominique et sainte Catherine de Sienne.

The Malerwinkel is a small green area right near the old town on the west bank of the Trave on Wallstrasse and, historically, part of the old ramparts in front of the Holstentor. It is connected to the old town island by the small wooden Dankwarts Bridge. This is just the right place for an easel or a holiday selfie with a lovely attitude towards life. The special perspective from this piece of earth onto the old town quarter on the banks of the Trave has always been very popular with painters and photographers and is a real postcard motif.
