A lone person stops to watch the sunset and reflect on life. You can almost feel her soul being rejuvenated from the beautiful skies and reflections created by mother nature.

Photo Description
Version 2 in the Lake Serene moored boat series on style, mainly colour. 'Style' is basically the manner in which an artist (here, 'photoartist') portrays the subject matter and how the artist expresses her or his vision, through the composition, which includes colour as a key element.
To recall at Lake Serene, 'serenity' is the state of being calm, peaceful, and untroubled. Lake Serene has been in this state for eons. The boat is a shared community boat for drifting around the lake to enjoy serenity in a gentle floating manner. Floating improves one's serenity by helping with mental and physical wellness through increasing one's relaxation, energy, and rejuvenation.

A fellow hiker takes in the pristine air and nature's blessings at Glacier's Two Medicine lake. Most rejuvenating!
Rejuvenation: the action of rejuvenating or the state of being rejuvenated : restoration of youthful vigor
or
the act or process of making someone look or feel young and energetic again.
A restorative for the body, mind and soul. Nothing better, can be addicting. The best kind.
Have a terrific Tuesday!
Do the rejuvenating powers of the Sea help us to restore ourselves and our dreams ? Yes, so build yourself a Myth...
Based on the song "Myth" by the music group, Beach House...
Going to Battle River this year helped me heal a bit and allowed me to feel excitement and enthusiasm for the first time since Phil died nearly 6 months ago.
See if you can spot the bear in this photo. I'll give you a hint; the object on the very far left in the water is a rock, but look just to the right of that. :-)
This was shot at the Grange Estate. It was such a warm and welcoming room and reminded me of when you get home at the end of the day or the end of a trip and let your surroundings rejuvenate your soul.
A big thank you for viewing and supporting.
56302 'Peco the Railway Modeller' approaches Helpston on the evening of 9th March 2022 with an additional 1213 Lowestoft Coke Ovens Junction to Longport train of ballast.
One of the more evocative-sounding locations on the British Railways network, the junction is at the site of 83 coke ovens that were first opened by the Eastern Countries Railway in 1854. Coal was shipped from the Durham coalfield by steamer, with the coke then railed from Lowestoft to Bow in London.
While the ovens were gone by 1866, in 2022 the junction now is access into Lowestoft docks. No rail freight traffic had used Lowestoft docks for nearly 20 years: this was the first train from the rejuvenated railhead.

Rejuvenation
My daughter just purchased her first home, and I surprised her on move in day and it was so much fun, but no internet :)

See you soon

There is nothing more rejuvenating then sitting outside and soaking in nature. For me I am in love with BackBones Hammock Chair. With so many color change options from the ropes to the cushions and fabric this hanging chair can fit into any build. Theres a ton of poses to chose from with aeros integration so this chair is more then just functional its fun as well. So stop in at BackBone. So whats your favorite piece from BackBone?
Ella on a snowy hillside late last year.
This was her first proper walk in years having found a drug that actually works on her arthritic joints and has given her back her joie de vivre. We're probably only a mile from home here but that distance would have been unthinkable a few months earlier.
Taman Beji Griya Waterfall is a hidden gem in Bali, Indonesia known for its spiritual and scenic beauty. Located in the Badung Regency, this waterfall is not just a natural wonder but also a sacred site for purification rituals. Visitors can experience the serene atmosphere, lush greenery, and unique rock formations while participating in traditional Balinese cleansing ceremonies. The site is less crowded than other waterfalls in Bali, making it a peaceful retreat for nature lovers and those seeking spiritual rejuvenation.

My favorite vacation spot starts in Eli, Minnesota. The Boundary Waters Canoe Area. I made a new crop of this photo for a current project:
Our trips to the paddle-only wilderness area along the border of Minnesota and Ontario are not really about fishing. It‘s just easier to tell everyone we’re “goin’ fishin’” than try to explain we’re going to rejuvenate our souls in a pristine world of natural beauty unchanged since the Ojibwa tribe made it home. People would just roll their eyes.
The magic of becoming one with nature has been a topic of conversation around many campfires. We’ve decided that when a traveler sacrifices modern conveniences and schedules, and leaves phones and work at home, the wilderness is more likely to bestow them with certain “gifts.” And for us, the most valued of these are the gift of loon calls, the gift of northern lights and the gift of the moose. Any one of those precious gifts makes for a GREAT trip. The rare perfect trip grants all three.
As usual, on this trip we tried to select campsites with northern exposures, and about the fourth night in were rewarded with a clear night and incredible show. The shimmering greens and red explosions of Aurora Borealis put civilized fireworks displays to shame. And twice we camped in lakes where we could sit quietly at the water’s edge and hear loons on both ends of the lake exchange hauntingly piercing calls. On most trips we would surprise more than one moose as we paddled into a secluded bay or drifted by a quiet marsh. But for 12 straight days the moose remained elusive.
Every morning we discussed if this would be the day for the gift of the moose. I was beginning to suspect one of my companions cursed us with a smuggled cell phone or something. And sure enough, on the last night of the trip my friend confessed he had packed a little plastic watch with an alarm function to make sure we got an early start on our final push home. I crawled into my sleeping bag, swearing to the moose spirits that it was not MY alarm clock, but resigned that two out of three gifts was pretty darned good.
It was still pretty dark when I woke to what sounded like distant grunts. HRUUP! HRUUP!
“What the heck is that?” I asked my snoring, technology-whipped tent-mate
“I don’t hear anything….scared of the dark?” he said sarcastically. Then he glanced at his uninvited clock and said, “Stop worrying and go back to sleep because we have to get up soon.”
Instead, I threw on some clothes, grabbed my camera, (acceptable technology) and jumped in the canoe to follow the grunts. I quietly paddled around our point and into a little bay behind our campsite. And there I received the ultimate gift of the moose.
For more than 30 minutes as the sun slowly peeked up through the morning mist I sat mesmerized as this majestic beast ate and explored less than 30 feet away. He posed, grunted, and swam in front of me several times before finally climbing back on shore and noisily disappearing through the trees. The BEST gift of the moose ever!
I love showing this photo to my friend with the alarm clock.

TGIF.. Have a lovely day.. thanks for stopping by..
I spent a wonderful afternoon at a local gardens where spring was bursting forth in all its glory. It's such a beautiful space, and yet free to enter which seems a very rare and special thing these days.
The sight of people's faces upturned to the welcome sun and their smiles as they encountered some new or beautiful specimen, or listened to birdsong, was every bit as precious as the garden itself.
I feel as though spring has truly sprung and I might have fallen in love with my camera all over again too!
One of the brightest, boldest rainbows I've seen welcomed me as I approached a region of Glacier Park long known for it's mystical and spiritual aura. Named Two Medicine by the Blackfeet peoples who have for centuries sent their young warriers here on vision quests and spiritual seeking.
I too feel that pull and need to return here for rejuvenation, rejoicing and relaxation. Never fails to set my soul singing and reboot my spirit.
Some earlier scenes/moments I've enjoyed from this special area below……..
We're finally having some Spring-like weather here. :-))
Hope you are as well.
Thanks for your visit!
The contractors have been working hard creating long trenches on the beach from Black Rock towards the Pier. I asked one of them what the trenches were and he explained they are part of the improving biodiversity plan (see below) The trenches are like planters which, once finished, will be filled with native plants, flowers and chalk land grasses. The trench area will then be fenced in so the public can look but not touch.

Enjoy a Super Day!
Refúgio Francês stood 120 meters (394 feet) above sea level. From its window wall behind my back, a breathtaking 360-degree panorama unfolded. Lake Nordenskjöld, Cerro Paine Grande, Cerro Ferrier, Mount Tenerife, and the Chacabuco and Balmaceda ranges – all etched themselves forever in my memory.
Patagonia's weather is a fickle beast, yet within the mountain domes's walls, comfort was guaranteed. A cozy bed, a hot shower, and camaraderie with fellow backpackers filled my evening. Freed from the burden of a heavy pack, I could truly embrace the journey, reveling in the constant beauty around me.
Day 2 of the W trek found me sharing stories with fellow travelers over a warm meal and countless pisco sours. Rejuvenated and recharged, I readied myself for the next leg – a challenging 23 km (14 mi) route with a peak elevation of 1,100 meters (3,609 feet). Steeps and descents awaited, but I was ready.
The refuge offered a variety of accommodations: from dome-shaped shelters to fully equipped campsites or even simple platforms. Food service and equipment rentals were also available.
