This guy was taking off from Pennington Flash and was struggling to straighten up and looking as though he was caught in a crosswind…Lol
Well folks, I’m slowly coming back on Flickr after a long absence due to ill health, but I’m slowly getting stronger and looking forward to seeing your images and sharing a few of my own once again :-}
Please press L on your keyboard. Thanks for looking 😊

On the Colorado River, outside of Page, AZ. There were lots of people being a bit too careless at the edge of the canyon, but almost everyone was gone by sunset. The sky was amazing once the stars were out; I wish I had more time and had planned some night sky shots.
The buildings pile up to the summit of the mountain, where begins the city of El Alto, at 4150 m altitude.
El Alto, in full development, extends widely on the atiplano and has more than one million inhabitants. It contains the most disadvantaged districts of La Paz agglomeration.

Elephants are my favorite animals! I went out on a boat along a river in the Okavango Delta and saw this family out having some water after a long walk. This is the time of year that all the animals come to the same location as the water dries up. Did you know that a group of elephants is called a "memory of Elephants"? Great name, eh? Who comes up with these things? Maybe elephants.
на фото по ссылке astronomy.ru/forum/MGalleryItem.php?id=13417).
фото по ссылке astronomy.ru/forum/MGalleryItem.php?id=13420

Andalusia is located in southern Spain and covers an area of 8 provinces. Andalusia is the second largest autonomous region in Spain. Beautiful Andalucía, the land of olives, oranges, sunflowers, beautiful mountain ranges and valleys, nice white mountain villages with beautiful squares, is a bridge between two continents, Africa and Europe, and is the point where the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea meet. There is something for everyone in Andalusia, from culture to beautiful terraces, sights, long beaches, beautiful inland areas with beautiful reservoirs, mountains and nice villages to visit. The capital of Andalusia is Seville. Another beautiful city of Andalusia is Granada. The crown jewel of Granada is undoubtedly the palace and fortress of Alhambra and is the most visited tourist attraction in Spain. It's an UNESCO World Heritage Site. The stunning hilltop palace overlooks Granada and is visible from all over the city. It is both a palace and a fortress surrounded by walls and was the residence of Moorish rulers between the 13th and 15th centuries. The Cathedral of Granada was built on the site of the former Great Mosque. The first stone of the Cathedral of Granada was placed in 1523, but it was not finished until 1704, 181 years later. During your trip to Granada, you should definitely go on a stroll in the Albaicín neighborhood. It’s located on top of a hill, right across the Alhambra. Rising up on a hill facing the Alhambra, the Albaicín neighbourhood is made up of a network of winding streets and small squares which open up suddenly to wonderful views of the famous palace fortress - with the Sierra Nevada beyond.
Granada is a city in southern Spain’s Andalusia region, in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains. It sits at an average elevation of 738 m. There are a number of miradores, or lookout points, dotted on the hills throughout Albaycin. The most popular of these is the Mirador de San Nicolas, once described by Bill Clinton as ‘the most beautiful sunset in the world’, with its panoramic views of the Alhambra and the Sierra Nevada mountains. Viewpoint from Albaycin on the church Parish of El Salvador in front and St. Louis Church and St. Bartholomew's Church.
A great stop in western Mass is Teo's in Pittsfield, for their little hot dogs with chili sauce and a solid hamburger. Love the history and vibe of this place - I'll support a Teo's every day of the week and twice on Sunday over a chain restaurant when I'm on the road.

Leica M240 + Leica Noctilux 50mm f1.0 v2
For anyone wanting the creative look of film yet ease of digital buy either a Leica M8 or a Noctilux lens! To me they both give less boring, less digital looking photos. The Noctilux on full frame as here is at it's best vs crop sensor

LONDON, ENGLAND - SEPTEMBER 22: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang celebrates scoring the 3rd Arsenal goal during the Premier League match between Arsenal FC and Aston Villa at Emirates Stadium on September 22, 2019 in London, United Kingdom. (Photo by Stuart MacFarlane/Arsenal FC via Getty Images)
Some stormy light over a frozen lake in the Lofoten Islands of Norway.
This one time, almost ten years ago, I broke through the ice on a frozen lake while hiking around in the Sierras by myself scouting compositions. I remember two distinct things from that event. First, it wasn’t just cold... it was painfully frigid. Like being stabbed by a thousand knives while simultaneously suffocating. Good times. Second, I very literally pissed my pants while trying to climb out. I remember thinking “oh, that’s really cool to do on top of everything else I’m going through” but I couldn’t control it, so I just let it happen. ♂️
