The Flood Zone was a great nightclub in the Shockoe Slip section of downtown Richmond, so named because it was, literally, in the James River flood zone. The place was sold and resold and I am not sure what it is now, if anything. The smiles are faded and chipped, but they remain. I am into reflections these days.
New Info: Painting remains on the building, but it now called the Have A Nice Day Cafe.
the african bush is a very dangerous place.
many big predators live there.
the african wild dog ( lycaon pictus ) also called "painted dog" is maybe the most efficent predator in the whole africa.
they hunt in packs with a very high rate of success.
these endangered dogs have a body weight of 25/30kgs and of course they cannot beat an adult buffalo.
here just casually a wild dog stopped near the skull of a big buffalo maybe killed from lions.
the shot is made under a mistly and drizzling rain, isos very high but i think a very original shot

Some locations have an inherent overlapping and constriction of depth, while other places like sculpture have a presence in air and within air. In these three shots it is more the design of the zones which is forefront in the picture.

Toutes ces terres sont en culture bio.
Le long de cette petite route, deux fermes: l'une élève des agneaux. L'autre cultive des légumes, des fruits, des tournesols.... Le sol limoneux est très riche.
Le ruisseau, dont les eaux descendent -hiver comme été- du Vercors, sont maintenant protégées. On ne le voit pas car il est caché par les haies vives replantées -avec l'aide du Département-, les hautes herbes et plantes fleuries, et toute une toute une faune s'épanouit dans cet environnement... J'aime marcher sur cette route, empruntée par quelques riverains, à pied, vélo, cheval, voiture (en roulant à vitesse raisonnable)... Suivre le cours du ruisseau, qui serpente dans la plaine, découvert ou non, à l'écart de l'agitation globale: un plaisir, d'autant que cette petite route est descendante d'un ancien chemin gallo-romain ;)
The outer perimeter walls of the castle surround the old town of Conwy, keeping the dwellings and residents free from invasion. Today its a quiet tourist town and a beautiful part of North Wales. This view was taken from one of the high ancient walls, all are open to the public!
Between Flat Creek and Illecillewaet, the rugged Illecillewaet River valley gets quite narrow and steep with both the railway and the highway passing through active avalanche zones, wedged between the Fortitude and Fidelity Mountains.

As most of you know, the road to Johnstons Ridge Observatory was wiped out by a landslide last year and I assumed that they shut the road down somewhere ahead of Coldwater Lake eliminating the need for Rangers or people in the area. I was wrong, the gate was placed just past the hummocks trail, I almost ran into it in the dark and foggy morning. Well, the hummocks trail hits Boundary trail and the Boundary trail goes up to Johnstons so......As I had arrived at 4am I had lunch alone in the deserted place. fyi there are two picnic tables behind the building, above the theater :)

Personas que llegaron y se quedaron, personas que estuvieron y se fueron. personas que alimentaron el ser, el sentir ,el vivir. A todos ellos y a otros cuantos, a muchos y a otros pocos. Respeto y la mas grande admiración. a todos los que dejan fluir ese orgullo de quienes son……. Quienes son sin dejar de ser. Consevan su escencia , la alimentan y dejan que ella hable por si sola. A los que los momentos y cosas los hicieron mas grandes , a los que aprendieron a compartir y asumir el todo, a los Complices, a los partícipes, a los implicados de estas 6 comunas a todos ellos un presente!!!
