Bald eagle heading down quickly on this spotted stunned fish there (after it came through the dam's turbine) ... easy pickings in this case.

41/365 … a quick trip into Sainsbury’s on the way back from the gym for, as it turned out, not quite enough top up bits of shopping … ah ha … maybe it’s because I stopped to take this shot of the ‘Zone B’ (can you tell??) avenue of lights … just getting to the point that they’re not needed ?? :-) xx

The Zoned Rosette is listed as a priority species in England. This is because it is generally rare across Europe but has a stronghold in the UK.
The large pinkish-brown, rosette-like reproductive structure of this fungus is typically seen near the base of old, ancient and veteran beech or oak trees. This habitat has declined in Britain, so the fungus requires surveillance and careful management to ensure its long-term survival.

Nichée dans un site enchanteur, une zone verte et protégée, cette église datant de 1701 fait partie d’un bel ensemble de bâtiments contigus qui constituait l’ancien prieuré des chanoines de saint Augustin. Ces bâtiments annexes sont devenus une propriété privée et l’église est devenue église paroissiale en 1803. A l’extérieur, on remarque l’élégant clocher à 3 bulbes.

Nestled in an enchanting setting, a protected green area, this church, dating from 1701, is part of a beautiful group of adjoining buildings that once comprised the priory of the Augustinian canons. These outbuildings became private property, and the church itself became the parish church in 1803. Outside, one notices the elegant bell tower with its three onion domes.
