Embalse Serga-Ordás (León, Spain)

The low winter sun casting multiple shadows on the steps up to Clifford's Tower, part of the ancient York Castle.

Zigzag way from the beach to the pier, and then to Milky Way.

Details of a roof seen from my house. Actually spotted by Samur Araújo.

My photostream’s kinda dull lately, so here’s some color to liven it up a bit. And yes, it IS fun shooting colored pencils!

I got a bone , a big bone ; I am quite happy with this; it taste so good that you can not dream of, it is a splendy day of my life

sorry, missed the 'sharp' theme last week, so i thought i'd just use the sharp zizag-blade of the decorating knife (buntmesser) on a carrot for this week's theme.

The Macro Mondays theme for this week is "Zigzag". Photo of a vixen file, also known as dreadnought files, and have curved teeth. This curved tooth configuration makes the file clog resistant, as any chips are forced out of the side of the file. Top lighting was incandescent and side light was from a LED bulbs. Camera white balance set for incandescent and resulted in side of the curved teeth to appear blue.

Interesting Angles and architecture in Singapore

I wish I had a few more evenings around this area. I'm sure there were lots of compositions to be seen.

If you look at it long enough, it might flip from an upward to a downward perspective - or back.

I posted this shot a while back and it looked a little funky. I did a couple things to it and now it looks "a little less funky."

I'm not sure what it is but there's something I like about this shot. It might be the way the boulder looks in the water. Or it might be the fact that this was a newly explored area for me. Or lastly, it might be because I shot this with my 6-stop ND Filter and I haven't used it very much at all so the few shots I've taken with it seem kind of cool. LOL

Black Cuillin vertorama aka vertical panorama.

Panorama of Zigzag Road shared earlier showing more expansive landscape. Three Level Zigzag road is probably the most dizzying road in the world that includes more than 100 hairpins in just 30km. It's one of the most scenic drives in the world. This spiral road is located near Zuluk or Dzuluk, a small village located in the historic Old Silk Route from Tibet to India, on the rugged terrain of the lower Himalayas in East Sikkim.

Suggest you view this Large On Black to appreciate the textures etc.

This was taken at my 3rd outing to Forresters Beach. Went there at dawn with the old man. Sky started off pretty clear and boring, but then a storm came over head and we were treated to some incredibly dramatic stormy sky.

The rock shelf at Forresters beach is gorgeous. Beautiful green rocks with lovely textures and very angular slabs. As the waves break over the rock you get some mini water falls occuring over the slabs.

Gorgeous location, probably my favorite rock shelf yet.
