Black and White or Color?

Not much to say about this one.. it's a stream. Didn't bring my tripod so I had to use obliging rocks to hold the camera steady.

I tried to make a digital version. Between 10 and 20 photos were taken in burst mode, with the camera hand held, so that the images are all slightly different. These were then averaged to make these images.

I've been wanting to make this tote ever since I saw it in Rashida Coleman-Hale's book, Zakka Style. I still had plenty of leftover Domestic Bliss (Liz Scott) and decided to make it for my daughter, Lauren.

Zigzag?

This is a view of road aside to Satluj river in Himachal.This is the highest highway & also a link from India to Tibet. The road is very narrow & difficult, a simple road accident and a fall in Satluj can result in many days of rescue operation,since the flow of river is very fast.
