Shortly after sundown last night at Great Sand Dunes National Park near Alamosa, Colorado.

A long lenticular cloud had formed over the Sangre de Cristo Mountains.

A submission to Macro Mondays on the topic 'Zigzag". This is the trunk aof a 'scribbly gum", an Australian tree noted for its "scribbles", made by insect larvae burrowing underneath the bark.

At the Chippewa Nature Center, near Midland, Michigan, portions of the Wetlands Trail consist of wooden planks where the path traverses wet and marshy areas.

The international event for Needlecrafts:

NADELWELT Karlsruhe, Germany.

14,000 square meters, 140 dealers, 30 art exhibitions, 48 courses on a separate seminar level, over 10,300 visitors - these are the sober facts of 3 days of NADELWELT Karlsruhe 2025 - the big event all about needlework.

NADELWELT Karlsruhe - more needlework is not possible. If you want to be there next year, you should definitely make a note of the next date: May 15 to 17, 2026, Messe Karlsruhe.

Wonderful tracks in the parks of Peterhof are placed by Peter Ivanovich Erler. In summer, I love speeding from the hill to fit into these zigzags on a bicycle. Every time I notice that it was necessary to deviate a couple of millimeters smaller to the right in order to later fit into the left turn without touching the brakes.

These belonged to my wife, she did all sorts of crafts.

The Macro Mondays group has chosen Zigzag today.

En pocos días desaparecerán las canasteras ( Glareola pratincola) de nuestros campos y eriales. Aquí podemos ver a una pareja en dos momentos distintos del vuelo.

In a few days Collared praticoles (Glareola pratincola) will disappear from our fields and wastelands. Here we can see a couple in two different moments of the flight.
