Une grande envie de couleurs après cette sombre semaine...

estherfr17.wordpress.com/2015/01/11/blesses-mais-debout/

Waiting for my daughter to finish up her gymnastics lesson I grabbed a few photos of a local bridge that climbs into the upper part of the city. I was able to get some stars in the original photo but there weren't many so I added a few more with a PS brush.

Two posts in as many days? Look out, I'm on a roll.

Actually, I'm just trying to process a seemingly neverending backlog of photos. This one's from one of two trips I took to the desert Southwest this spring. This area has an amazing collection of rock formations and perfect, non-trod-upon rock fins. Let's hope these fins stay that way.

Thanks for looking!

It’s a bit cliche, but I’ve been wanting to try a spoon reflection. I tried several different spoons and backgrounds and didn’t have much success. My flatware is 47 years old, and I discovered that every little smudge and scratch shows. So I went with imperfect. I will have to buy a shiny new spoon and try this again somtime.

The "Phare du Petit Minou" is a lighthouse in the roadstead of Brest, standing in front of the Fort du Petit Minou, in the commune of Plouzané. By aligning it with the phare du Portzic, it shows the safe route to follow for ships to enter the roadstead.

Standing Mobile (1943)

I drifted off Fife way when my wife threw me and dog out of the house. Never been here before. St Monans. OK, it wasn't exactly like that but it almost seems obligatory these days to moan and whinge why you didn't get the shot you wanted. You've got to be a victim of something or other! Not my fault the tide wasn't high enough or the wind strong enough and coming from East or South East but my wife's tantrum didn't give me much preparation. No wide angle lens either, with me. And I had to handle a loopy one year old pup cockapoo on my own too. Yep, I might have been suffering from Covid as well...my wife thinks she is, but my tyres stayed intact, I didn't meet any drunks and I didn't slip off the jetty. It's not as sharp as I might have liked (I was trying to get a blurry effect) but to be honest I'm still a bit jumpy (for joy) that Nicola Sturgeon has resigned and women with penises can be called men again. Mind you I should worry: Asda and Morrisons have just announced you can only buy two tomatoes and one twig of broccoli per visit to their stores. Strangely nothing to do with Brexit. And Putin says it's not his fault either. In fact none of the aforementioned excuses were. Aint that worrying for some? You can't blame a crap photo on Brexit. Not that that will stop some trying. You can only blame yourself!
