El faro de Arnel es el más antiguo de las islas Azores, que aún sigue en funcionamiento.

Hasta él llega una estrecha y empinada carretera , que tras pasar e faro , termina en un pequeño embarcadero junto a unas pintorescas casitas .

El sitio donde está situado es increíble. Sus vistas maravillosas y unos acantilados que parece que se van a desplomar al mar.

La verdad es que el faro está en un sitio espectacular pero la bajada y subida se las trae, un 35% de desnivel

Unas vistas impresionantes, agua que cae de la montaña, puerto muy pintoresco.

Do you ever post a picture... get called away and then not get to revisit it for hours after to write your commentary. I try to pop on flickr each day as a way to relax for 20min over lunch at work... but it never seems to work out that way and I usually get interrupted with another saga from the construction site! If you like a days work with no surprises or drama dont work in construction!

This was taken back in March on my trip to Glencoe. Im not sure you would even be able to stand here and get this shot if the river was running with more water in it... but its one to defo try and revisit to see what I can do with more fuller rivers... but staying safe being the top priority!
