Kellie, Joshua, and Heidi are busy spinning on the Zero Gravity ride in downtown Provo during the 4th of July celebration. Jackson and I watched from the ground hoping to not be sick.
To enjoy my other creative project, please visit my funny short stories website: 500ironicstories.com where you can read or listen to new stories each week. I have also curated the stories into three different selections:
Stories for Kids - 500ironicstories.com/stories-for-kids Love Stories - 500ironicstories.com/love-story
Moral Stories - 500ironicstories.com/moral-stories
Finally got my Superboy out, and since I finally actually read this comic, I figured I'd make this guy. Not too complicated, but very nice to look at.
Expect some more Batman things in a few days. :D
- from the boat, at least (and zero Russian fuels, too ;)
Trying different treatments and looks: a brighter, nearly 'sunny' version
I built a new canopy for my Zero and took a quick snapshot.
Please let me know if you like this more.

this weekend needed a bit of relax from sewing and this is what I made ^_^

That's what the notification from the weather network said, so naturally I risked my safety and found myself trackside later that afternoon.
Soon after arriving, I was able to discern someone calling out a signal in Darlington, followed by the detector going off in Bowmanville. An eastbound for sure. In the muffled silence, the train's horn can be heard in advance for quite some time. A well-worn pair of AC4400's swing around the curve off in the distance, running elephant style on the head end of a container/manifest combo. Uninhibited by the low visibility, the train punches through the fog at top speed.

The Zero, also called the Mitsubishi A6M, was a fighter monoplane used with great effect by the Japanese during World War II. Designed by Jiro Horikoshi, it was the first carrier-based fighter capable of besting its land-based opponents. It was placed in operation in 1940.
Inspired by The Wind Rises. I think this will be the last of these planes for now, until I finish some other projects.
