Keiji Inafune ( "INAFKING" ), el creador de Megaman y actual Presidente de Capcom, había admitido que había creado a Zero para que fuera el mismo Megaman X, para remplazar a Megaman, pero decidió crear a X, debido a que a los jugadores les encontraría difícil reconocer un parentesco entre Megaman y el nuevo Megaman X debido a la gran diferencia de diseño, así que mejor convirtió a Zero en compañero y en ciertas oportunidades protector de X. Nueve años después, Zero tendría su propio rol protagónico en Megaman Zero, serie única de Game Boy Advance.

An unforgettable trip to New York: invited to a friend's wedding, I surprised my wife a few minutes later than this shot in Battery Park, asking her to marry me at City Hall in a matter of 2 days. So New York became our second hometown after Rome, Italy.

The live finals of the 2016 Zero Robotics High School Tournament took place on the International Space Station on 27 January 2017. More than 100 students aged between 14 and 20 years old from across Europe met at ESA’s Space Research and Technology Centre (ESTEC) in the Netherlands. From there, students connected to the ISS, as well as to parallel events taking place in the USA and Australia. This is the fifth time that the ISS has been turned into a gaming platform for the ultimate game of robotics.
