Missing my tangling time - had some time to do this piece before bed :)

Went to Micheals today and found some super smooth white card board pieces, in all different shapes & sizes ... was there yesterday too & picked up one pack of squares 12 to a pack for 99cents ... got them home & they were a dream to draw on with everyting I tryed, pencils, markers, watercolor pencils, so went back today & got a lot of different ones ... decided I could use them for templates also ... this is one of the paperdoll shapes ( does'nt have fingers or toes!) .... instead of drawing on the cardboard, I traced around it & made a colorbook page for my grandaughter Zoe ... wanted to tangle the whole piece but she's only 3 , so kept it simple! ... just done in pencil ...

another attempt after a long break away from tangling.

Tipple is one of my go to patterns. I use it as a border, a fill, as an aura but especially like to use it as I have done here - only fill it in sections to create some interest.

Thanks for visiting :)

Created using Template #4 from

Step by Step pattern 'X'

was trying to work out a simpler way of drawing my pattern 'X'

what I discovered was it does not have to be in the round and I think it lends itself beautifully to squares or rectangles.

I would love to see your creations :)

Thanks for looking.

Trying out 'Leaf' by Catherine Langsdorf. doesn't quite look as nice as hers - will try this one again :)

thanks for looking - comments always welcome :)

This is the whole piece, just wanted to give you a little better view on the 1st pic ... Thought this might be a hard one to do but it turned out to be quite fun & easy to do on my cleaning breaks ...

Made this one for Laura Harms' weekly challenge #14 - Walk the Line.

Using only straight lines.

Finished it too late to post it on her blog, but wanted to show you anyway.

I found this art form by exident on the net. I had to try it straight away. I think to make really nice pictures you need a lot of practice. This is my first trial, so I think it´s quite ok. I made it watching this video:

Hi everyone! ... Feels so good to be able to post a piece, it seems like it's been months instead of weeks! ... I'm mending but slowly ... can only tangle for a very short time before I have to stop ... so this took a few days to do & it's a small piece 5x5, done with Prisma # 005 & 03 markers ... Today was my 1st day in weeks that I could sit at the computer for more than a couple of minutes too, I've so missed seeing all of your beautiful work & being able to spend time commenting on it ... I'll still be here on & off for awhile, still in alot of pain & on meds. , so I'll be here when I can :) Hope everyone is well! :) THANK YOU EVERYONE SO MUCH FOR ALL THE WELL WISHES & THOUGHTFUL SWEET COMMENTS ... I FEEL BLESSED TO HAVE YOU ALL AS MY ZENTANGLE FRIENDS! .... BIG SMILE :)

Zendoodle cat print available to buy through Folksy.com

This is the negative , shows up a little more of the detail, tryed to enhance the original but it kept turning out way too dark blue, so the piece I posted in blue is untouched, the details just aren't showing up very well . :)

Started this one on the flight home from Florida :)

I just saw this fab pattern over at 'the weekly zentangle roundup'

not sure if I did it justice, but I just couldn't wait to give it a try :)

my thanks to Dawn Maurice for sharing the how to for this.

If you are wondering about the weird placement of my name, it's because I drew it in portrait then signed and then decided it probably needed to be in landscape :)

thanks for looking :)

colour is by photo app.

Inspired by Henna artists

Practising my Mooka!! I was looking at Mooka and an idea just came to me - Mooka reminded me of Flamingos - so I made another card. Took pics before and after colour - I don't mind either really.

trying to perfect my 'offerings' pattern. I have another one in progress (been so for over a week now!). After I uploaded this, all of a sudden it reminded me of a turtle... :))
