Still catching up on dares I missed.

Thanks for looking.
This week Erin ( www.thebrightowl.com ) has asked that we fill the template with one/some of our favourite tangles, the ones that make us 'the artists that we are.
In this one I've used a Sepia coloured pen and one of my favourite blue gel pens.
Fave patterns here are: Ixorus, Ragz, Organza

Still getting round to replying to your comments - thank you :)
ZIA / Zendala created using Prismacolor Premier colored pencils, Sakura Pigma Micron black pens, GellyRoll Stardust Glitter and Moonlight gel pens, and American Crafts Ultimate Glitter gel pen. Completed on 3/1/2012. This is my first effort in doing a piece completely in color while using various media together. I learned some interesting lessons in what kinds of pencils and pens work well together and which ones don't.
Pre-printed mandala from a colouring book for children, filled with my new addiction - the "native" pattern from the Am. Museum of Natural History.

I call this pattern Swiros (as in: swirls & rounding).
This is not my original design. I was inspired by this beautiful picture:
As soon as I find the original picture I will post a link to it. Can´t remember at the moment where I saw it.
Thanks to Erin Koetz Olson for the Zendala String. Tangles: Aura Knot, Meer (vari), Aura, in general, Agua. Sakura 01 Micron Pen.

Using Tangle Pattern Dewd on a Zendala with a Crescent Moon type tangle. I added lots of black ink from a Sakura Pigma Brush.
This is done on sage coloured cardstock - I used some red, white and yellow Prismacolour pencils in several sections, still maintaining the colour of the cardstock.
thanks for looking - have a lovely weekend! off to bed for me :)

You can grab the template and tangle away. I highly recommend the site and the Weekly Dare.
Thanks for visiting!
I traced the Zendala onto white card stock with pencil and then used a Micron .01 pen to make the design permanent. It is colored with Prismacolor pencils, fine line pens, glitter pens and shaded with Prismacolor pencil. The tangles are Flora by Sandy Bartholomew from her book Totally Tangled; and Echoism, an official Zentangle by Rick and Maria at Zentangle.com. The rest of the tangles are just line drawings and doodles that seemed to work.
A new series of mini-Zendalas (Canson 220gsm paper, 3" circles punched out with an Artemio punch).Tangles: Showgirl, LaCePa variation.
This week's zendala dare challenge at the Bright Owl was to use paper we would not normally use. So I dug into my old paper stash and found a pad of floral-patterned cards I'd never used, and decided to make myself a birthday card. Thanks for looking!
