I loved the sight of Zebra's crossing the path. Lovely Serengeti plains in the background.

Got a few of this fella as he was so obligingly stood still. Or lady, perhaps it's a lady Zebra?

Burchell's Zebra in the Kruger National Park, South Africa. I was taken by surprise the first time I saw a zebra - they're not one of the usual "big five" that people usually aspire to seeing, and they weren't one of the animals I was particularly hoping to see. However, my first sight of one literally took my breath away. Maybe it's the similarity to a horse but in such beautiful clothes that did it. Whatever it was, I've had a very soft spot for these lovely, graceful animals ever since.

This Zebra is only a few weeks old. Young zebra are born with furry brown stripes that gradually become black as they get older.
