XP 2006 (City of Wagga) & XP2007 (City of Albury) coming in to Culcairn Station, New South Wales, Australia.
Culcairn station opened on 1 September 1880 when the Main South line was extended from Wagga to Gerogery. Opposite the platform lies a passing loop.
The 1883 built station master's residence has been restored by the Culcairn Museum Committee.
On 3 October 1892, Culcairn became a junction station with the opening of the Corowa line and an island platform added. On 18 September 1902, the Holbrook line opened. Both lines have since closed and the island platform demolished.
Culcairn is served by two daily NSW TrainLink XPT services in each direction operating between Sydney and Melbourne.
From left to right we have the down morning Canberra Xplorer, the down Dubbo XPT, the up Casino XPT, the down daylight Melbourne XPT and the down Casino XPT. Shortly after taking this the up overnight Melbourne XPT arrived at platform 4 bringing the total to 5 XPTs and 1 Xplorer.
Volvo B7RLE / Wright B44F new 10/2009 , one of a batch of 14 new at Wells , negotiating the tight left turn at The Triangle in Paulton on service 172 from Bath to Wells via Midsomer Norton and Radstock which is operated by Wells depot . Service 172 operates every half hour from Bath to Paulton during the day , but after 6pm it runs through to Wells via Hallatrow and the A37.
All 25 vehicles at Wells are now in this Mendip Xplorer livery . In September 2017 66726 in Badgerline "Big Badger" livery was added to Wells' allocation.
While waiting for the Canberra Xplorer to overtake, 4471/4488/4717 wait in the Down loop at Moss Vale on what is believed to be their transfer run to Goulburn for storage.
This is a real Xplorer 21 RV, sold by Dodge in 1969 and 1970. It didn't originally have six wheels. Marley Station Mall, Glen Burnie, MD, 8/16/08.
Recently repainted in Mendip Xplorer livery (though still missing vinyls) and transferred to Wells depot this ADL Enviro 400 is leaving Wells on a 376 to Street.
Errrr, make that Xplorer. EA2504 runs through Bullaburra on its way to Dubbo.
The Dubbo XPT was replaced by an Xplorer due to the Dubbo XPT set being used for the Parkes Elvis Train.

Volvo B7RLE / Wright B43F new Jan 2005 , originally at Wells depot , but later transferred to Weston super Mare and repainted in Olympia livery. In September 2016 it returned to Wells and in March 2017 it was repainted in Mendip Xplorer blue and gold livery .
All 25 vehicles at Wells are now in this Mendip Xplorer livery , all except 3 having been new at Wells , 9 Streetdecks , 14 Eclipse 2s , and 66720/1 , which being the oldest work mainly on 126 in accordance with tradition. 66721 has just arrived from Weston-super-Mare on 126.
Wells will be taking over all workings on 126 which is currently jointly worked by Weston from early September.

With the withdrawal of the last of the 2002 B7Ls in January 2018, this batch of B7RLEs (of which 66720 is numerically first of those remaining ) are the oldest single deckers in the West of England fleet.

Public Transport Victoria 5'3" gauge Trailer No.TM 1315 of 'VLocity' Class 3-car dmu No.VL15 at Melbourne (Flinders Street) 2 April 2016. An evolution of NSWR's Endeavour/Xplorer design, Bombardier (Dandenog) built 75 sets in 2004-16: 40 2-car sets and 35 3-car sets although all of the former have been strengthened to 3-car sets. The bogies were built at Derby UK and are convertible to standard gauge.
This piece of history was from 1970 at a Flemington garage. This was a motorhome built on a Dodge frame.

After a brief spell at Marlborough Street it was repainted in Mendip Xplorer livery and transferred back to Wells in September 2016. Once again Wells has 14 of these , but 69457 / 8 new to Bristol have replaced 69435 / 6 which went to Leicester.
In August 2018 69448 was the first single decker to be repainted in yellow and teal livery for South Glos Lynx services from Marlborough Street depot. Volvo B9 Geminis are being painted in Mendip Xplorer livery for servies 172/3/4.

A shot taken from a lower perspective here as I tried to include the newly refurbished reception area of the 101 Victoria Street building, as a Streetdeck passes it on route 92.
This bus previously carried a livery for the Mendip Xplorer routes, and regularly worked the 376 route from Bristol over to Wells, Glastonbury and Street.
