TCDD DE22 075 storms upgrade towards Yolçatı station with the Ankara bound Güney Express. The normally dry arid countryside has turned bright spring green reminding me of the famous Windows XP desktop background.

The fledged young barnswallows are quite capable of flying and fend for them selfs but still like to get that extra mouth-stuffer.

Denizen of the lower levels of the forest understory, this little beauty is a tough one to get the focus on. Constantly foraging on the journey South, they never sit still and are most of the time " behind something" and in the DARK. I was fortunate to have it briefly in the open in a shaft of light.
