TCDD DE22 075 storms upgrade towards Yolçatı station with the Ankara bound Güney Express. The normally dry arid countryside has turned bright spring green reminding me of the famous Windows XP desktop background.

During their hunting forays they will rest briefly on snags, broken tree stumps and fenceposts. I would have liked some sun but it was a rather "flat light" day.

Last Fall was a great one for a small group of dedicated photographers to get shots of the SEOW's that were observed close to Manawan lake, AB.

No cropping involved. The original image, thankfully I didn't clip the tail but would have liked a bit more clear space on the right.
The fledged young barnswallows are quite capable of flying and fend for them selfs but still like to get that extra mouth-stuffer.
