Yep, instead of heading north to Arctic Tundra, this male snowy seems to be going in the wrong direction.
this is the Arthur Ravenel Bridge leading from Charleston to Mount Pleasant. we took it by accident...because i was being a bad navigator for my wife, but it was a pretty ride and only added 10 mins or so + a u-turn to our trip. last pictures i got of this thing were from the previous trip and were profile in nature.

The yellow SUV entered Pena Blvd the wrong way and collided head-on with the minivan at the I-70 exit. Fortunately no one lost their life but there were plenty of broken bones in both vehicles. I came up on the collision within a couple of minutes after it occured and no emergency vehicles were on scene yet.
After the 6th or 7th one passes you by while you wait for a D train, this is kinda what it feels like.

July 5th, 2013 - 44 Quiet Nights, Day 37 - Cedar Breaks National Monument to Cedar City.
The day's hike: A length of the Blowhard Trail down into the Ashdown Gorge Wilderness.
How would you like to be driving to work on a major highway when you suddenly see a Mack truck traveling in the wrong direction and heading straight towards your tiny compact car??? That's what happened to me Tuesday morning on Routes 1&9 North in Newark, NJ. I snapped this shot with my cell phone camera just before the truck hit me. Actually.... luckily for me and all the other drivers heading north, it turned out to be a Mack truck facing backwards as it was being towed in the northbound center lane near Newark Liberty Airport. So, there was no horrible crash. Not even a near-collision. Just a few scary moments when it appeared a Mack truck was heading straight towards me. (a true story)
Looks like someone took a wrong turn--or two or three.
The bird seems to appreciate it, though.
This is at a restuarant in Mansfield (I think I'd crossed into Mansfield city limits), Texas.

The car may have made a wrong turn into the transit tunnel and was being escorted out by King County Sheriff and Transit Police. We speculate that they got a ticket after leaving the tunnel.
Not sure whether black sheep still have the same reputation in these days of political correctness, but this little one really stood out from the crowd!
