Having been tantalised by the sound of high revving Scanias passing the house I resolved to spend a while waiting for the former Global 1311 to put in an appearance. It was Saturday and it seems to work quite a few airport shuttles, the extra capacity evidently coming in useful from the larger hotels. It didn't turn up whilst I was out but this one did. 2078JLW is obviouly a re-registration dating from 2016. It's a MAN, possibly a 13.250 with Irizar Century II coachwork and carrying fleet number 7 for Las Palmas Bus. (d21-0800f)

A lost Wisconsin Central SD45 was leading a pair of GATX SD40-2s that at least are painted for the right railroad (Union Pacific) as train MSSPR rolls through Billboard Row alongside US 41 on the former CNW New Line near KO Interlocking back in 1998.
Restless. Missing. Uncertain. Unsatisfied. It's a sort of head hunger. A body missing its back half. A ukulele that's never quite in tune on a girl who has nothing else to play with.
I miss visual art, especially photography, like a dead twin or a missing limb and I can't live without doing it anymore
A Queens-bound (N) train wrong rails into the lower level of Queensboro Plaza Station, where it was terminating over the weekend due to trackwork on the Astoria Line.

The grey top was another sale bargain. My shape wear routine didn't work at all. The black top is with the next size up in the boob department which has helped a little. The diet starts on Monday!
"J'onn?"
"What's wrong?"
"I'm hearing things..."
"Like what?"
'Voices. They sound mad. I think it's Steph's dad..."
"Her father was abusive, I take?"
"Yeah. Guess it makes sense I'm hearing him down heEERR--!!"
'Jackie!"
"I'm okay...just slipped on something...it's a bottle for pills...this is a bottle, right?"
"Peculiar. Stephanie was an addict at one point in her life."
"No! She would never! But...her mom was....wait, I see something!"
'You should probably stay clear of it."
"It's Steph! W-why's she chained up!?"
"Jackie, don't get any closer, this is--"
"Steph! Steph!! Oh god, you're bleeding! I'm gonna get you outta there, just---my powers aren't working!!"
"Jackie, your abilities are limited in here, there's nothing you can do!"
"I gotta save her, I gotta---"
*CCCRRRRCK*
"A door? But....Black Mask?!"
"Jackie, this is just a memory, you can't prevent this!"
"Get away from her!! I'll hurt you!!!"
"Jackie, stay away from it, you could---"
"I SAID GET AWAY!!!"
"Jackie!!!"
"RRRAAAAGGHH!!!!!"
Flash fired but thngs went wrong. I'm at the local (Lynnwood) Guitar Center with the idea of doing 4x5 photos of the Drum Off contestants. This was in prep of that idea but big fail. f/26 @ 1/30 per Sekonic Flashmate. Flash provided by Nikon SB-28. Lens is Symmar 135mm. After this I took the lens to the shop (Northwest Camera Repair). No issues found. Development for HP5+ per Massive development in homemade D76 stock. Cropped from negative. But hey!! it's art!!
CP's Tech Train rolls west in reverse along the Elgin Subdivision at Franklin Park. It was returning from testing the C&M Sub from Fox Lake and then the Elgin Sub from A5 westward.
Food Lion in Raleigh, NC now makes people walk one way down the aisles during the coronavirus quarantine. Note: many people chose to ignore these signs :(
My newest doll's clothes (The mistery man one XD) have arrived and, since he's going to share the same size of Mail, I let him try them on...well...I think it's just a pity Mail wasn't born in Edo's period too. He would have been an ambited samurai! XD Ahahah!
(ma son sicura che lui invece è felicissimo di esser nato nel ventesimo secolo, invece ^^; chissà perchè!!)

Pretty much 'Contre jour' lighting for this and looks like I was the wrong side of the fence - laws of trespass onto railway land were not viewed in the same way at this time

New pics from an old kit, once more.
This is a standard 1:100 VF-1S kit from ARII, with little upgrades like additional joints in arms and legs as well as new hip construction made from wire that allows a 3D posture of the legs - for a more vivid appearance and a more dynamic pose.
The paint scheme is not "official" and was inspired by a US Navy A-3 Skywarrior bomber from the Vietnam War era - specifically an RA-3B from VAP-61 in 1968. I found the profile in a magazine, and you know: never trust printed cammo schemes... at least without secondary sources for confirmation. So, this here represents the printed colors, not the real camouflage tones!
This squadron leader's VF-1S (with the "00" ID number, hence the "Double Nuts" name) was painted with a wrap-around, 3-tone color scheme in light grey (FS 36622, almost white), ghost grey (FS 36320) and blue grey (FS 35164).
For reference, check this illustration: wp.scn.ru/en/ww3/b/796/3/0/1
Nevertheless, there are many VF-1 designs that are based on USN benchmarks, e .g. to be found in the "This is animation, Special: MACROSS PLUS" source book or the later Softbank Publishing books.
Today I know that my interpretation is "wrong", it should be FS 36440, 36231 and 36118. But this more bluish variant even looks better and might be well suited for aerial combat. :D
And, in full flight and in front of a cloudy sky, this vivid color scheme effectively breaks up the Valkyrie's outline.
Drawn with my left hand. It was a test because I've been feeling some pain in my right hand and wanted to try a different approach. The victim is my husband reading:)
