I have been on the lookout for a Rolleigrip for my Vb for some time but the items I have seen are far too expensive or they had been to hell and back . This one is not a Rollei item but is a German Rowi grip , Mounted on a Rolleifix it does the job just nicely.
Also acquired the Sekonic L-28c lately , a good clean meter that reads well and is complete with all the factory bits and bobs , must be one of the first as the instructions are type writen from Kanematsu New York Inc. The back page includes a coupon for supply of the instruction book when it is printed. Mmmmm I wonder if they would still honour that coupon.

On the evening nine Geiko/Maiko-san had kindness to appear on our Ozashiki.
From the left (in alphabetical order), Kana-san, Katsunosuke-san, Katsuyuki-san, Kosen-san, Mahiro-san, Makino-san and Mamechiyo-san. But I forgot to get the Hanameishi of Mamesuzu-san and Mayuha-san who appear regularly on our Ozashiki (^^;).
Abandoned horse farm. No farm house there; it looks like it was picked up and moved away.

Later served at Aberdyfi were it replaced PN04 WKB that was rolled in June 2008 while on a shout and writen off as a result.
PO54 FJU was also rolled on April 13th 2012 hence why this is fitted with the newer style LED gantry lighting and different rear blue lighting to all the other volvo FL's made by saxon in the fleet.
This round tower is cosied up to an 18th century cruciform shaped church ruin, though some 16th C mullioned windows are found within. First writen mention of the tower has the cap in ruins. The current fair attempt at restoration was carried out in 1880 by the OPW. It has a rounded top though, instead of a decidedly pointy traditional cap. This, its wide drum, and less than average height, makes this round tower look rather squat.

Série "Agent Orange".
Many things have been said and writen about those two nebulas. Many astrophotographers have taken the challenge the last years to capture the faint squid nebula that is hidden in the flying bat nebula and was ignored until 2011, when another amateur astrophotographer Nicolas Outters proved once and for all its existence. I spent many days on this target. I started in June and finished in October, trying to capture as many photos as I could to really make the details from the squid nebula visible. 18 nights I turned my telescope towards the constellation Cepheus and gathered precious photons for this project. The processing was also very challenging and I went throught a very difficult learning process, trying to improve my processing skills and master the difficulties this target provided. A very big thanks to fellow astrophotographer Yannick Akar for the inspiration to capture this target, but also for his precious guidance throught the processing. I hope you enjoy it!

One of the very last Blues musicians to emerge from the birthplace of the genre, Riley "B.B." King overcame poverty and discrimination in the Mississippi Delta to become a legend. His true professionalism, coupled with his dignity, humility and kindness made him a revered musician the world over. I saw B.B. King perform, and was overwhelmed by his showmanship, and pure gratitude towards his fans.
Rest in peace, B.B. King.

Since spring I often see this treehouse in a forest near Berne. and I am glad that it is still there. On the yellow sheet is writen: "This treehouse belongs to a boy and five girls! You can use it so: Ladder to go down and up and dont romp on the treehouse!!! Entering at ones own risk! After use leave it clean!"
This is the boathouse in which the Welsh poet Dylan Thomas lived, the shack in which much of his work was writen lies just a few meters to the left of the camera.
The view from this path is very beautifull as is much of this coastline.

Rust Never Sleeps
-----
Hey Hey, My My
Rock and roll can never die.
There's more to the picture,
Than meets the eye..
Hey Hey, My My.
The king is gone.
but he's not forgotten
Is this the story
of Johnny Rotten?
It's better to burn out
'cause rust never sleeps
The king is gone
but he's not forgotten.

Thanks to the great Neil Young for these lyrics... mean a lot to me.
Over the course of just this year, I have certainly aquired a new taste... and that is my love of old records. I am now the owner of a record player and a box full of records I have been carefully collecting over the spring and early summer. I love the vintage quality, and the history behind them.
I found the gem, Neil Young's "Rust Never Sleeps" album from 1979 in a little record store in Stillwater and quickly bought it up as it has so much history. What a record it is... Some of my favorite tunes are on this one... Hey, Hey... My My... Rock & Roll can never die. To give a bit of significance to this records history... you have to first understand the type of music I listen too. Two of my top three favorite bands of all time: Nirvana and Lynyrd Skynyrd. And this album has strong ties to both bands.
In Kurt Cobain's suicide letter in 1994... he wrote in the very last line. "I don't have the passion anymore, and so remember, it's better to burn out then to fade away. Peace, Love, Empathy. Kurt Cobain." There is where the connection starts, in the first song, within the first verse... Neil Young pens those lines... its better to burn out, then to fade away... and those words were written about Elvis... Kurt could never become a fat cliche... he had to "burn out"...
Secondly... the track "Powderfinger" on the album was writen by Neil Young for his good friend Ronnie Van Zant, singer of Lynyrd Skynyrd. As well well know... Ronnie ended up singing Sweet Home Alabama to the Lord after the tragic 1977 plane crash.
Such a sad thing... and I think this shot sort of symbolises that to me... Rust Never Sleeps... this farm machinery has been lying dormant, fading away... into rust. Don't let the rust in your life drag you down, lets put it out to pasture and get on with our lives.
Thank you guys for supporting me and putting up with my ramblings... its so encouraging. Love ya all...

Gateshead Class 47 47423 (update: unknown 47 - see comments below) passes the site of Mirfield mpd with a Liverpool express. This engine never carried the large-logo livery and was withdrawn in 1992
I originally thought it was 47409 - hence the comments below. The eth jumper on the front proves it not to be so (thanks for info Paul). My mistake - the original slide has 423 writen on it.

This is a dancer in the French musical "La Légende du roi Arthur" (The Legend of King Arthur), writen and produced by Dove Attia.
It is directed and choreographed by Giulian Peparini.
The excellent lighting performance is by Xavier Lauwers.
And the amazing make-up is done by my friend Carmen Arbues Miro.
Some of the pictures I took during the Première came as if they were shot in a dreamlike world or an oneiric universe...

More from the interior of General Manual Noriega's abandoned beach house in Panama. Clever graffiti peppered the interior and it looks like homeless have used this place too. Exhilarating to be inside there.
