I was going through my brother's wallet in the hotel (Heh... it's a long story.) and came across this twenty scrawled across its margin with "Bless this money Lord."
I wonder who it was that wrote it. And what circumstances caused him (or her) to write it. Were they desperate ones? Were they not desperate? Was it just a custom when he tithed in church? Just what was it?

Ignoring prominent road closure warning signs, a couple attempted to cross the flooded ford on Racecourse Rd at Altona. Plunging into the powerful eddy and rapids below the ford might have had catastrophic consequences, but fortunately for the pair, treated pine poles managed to hold the car enabling rescuers to extract them without injury
