The Medieval Market on June 28th 2014, Turku, Finland.

Next up in my Sonoran birds project, are Gambel's Quail. Here they are sketched in and the background just begun.

Kelly swept the forest floor and covered up all his leveling with needles and mulch.

Here's my makeshift polishing pad for my dremel. Fancy, right? I just cut out a sort of circle from the super pack of scrubbing pads I picked up at home depot, attached to a mandrel, attached to dremel, and whee!

Not as pretty as Nick's (who suggested this)!

Just a WIP of my partners modded Dollzone April head. I closed the eyes to dreaming and started a fantasy face up. This is the first mod of this kind I've done, I'm pretty happy with it.

With our morning work finished, and in need of a bit of refueling, we decided it was time for a coffee break.

I go through abrasive buffs like water. At $4-6/pair of buffs, that's ridiculous.

Nick from Nicholas and Felice suggested, some time ago, that I try something else (the scrubbing pads seen in this set).

They didn't really work for the first phase of "sanding" (I've used them after curing white paint on my buttons/dishes to lift off the bits of paint left on the surface vs. embossed design and to smooth all the edges).

But WOW do they work for polishing, after the several stages of wet sanding I do.
