Taking a little break from working from home to go sailing? More like taking a little break from sailing to work from home!

Geometrid Caterpillar (Chlenias auctaria)

Seen on our Cotoneaster Plant.

A real life photography from my black and white project “Hands”. This is a project for an exhibition, and probably a book about the expression, and power, of Human Hands.

Honeybee

I spotted this busy bee working the Ivy flowers this morning.

Back after I take the kids up to the football ground for their Phys Ed lesson to catch.

Musk Lorikeet (Glossopsitta concinna)

I found myself with an hour to spare this morning so I grabbed the camera and went for a walk to check on the Tawnies and to Woodville Park and the football ground (all within 400 metres of home).

I had remarked to a birding mate just this week that the Musk Loris hadn't showed up yet. They have now. There are good numbers in Woodville Park. Most were high in the foliage of the Eucalypt trees but this came down to preen and model for me.

A rare commodity these days…men who are ready and willing to work.

Jack, the black lab on the left, belongs to my family in England. The other Spaniels are highly trained working dogs, but also live as part of the family with their owner.

Butterflies are pretty thick this time of year at Boyce Thompson Arboretum. I believe that this is a pipevine swallowtail (feel free to correct me)

Many people also work on holidays.

They want to have Fun.

Having herded all the cattle to the back 40, Jasper surveys his ranch, proud of the work he's done. It's the life of a working dog breed

It's strange times for all of us, with lots of changes to things we took for granted.

Keep safe, keep smiling, keep sensible and keep being courteous. " this too shall pass"

Much love, Bunny. x
