Workers Party of Ireland members from the Dublin suburb of Ballyfermot at the huge march of more than 100,000 people through the Irish capital in protest against government and IMF / EU austerity measures and the policy of pouring hundreds of billions of Euro into the failed banking system.

Councillor Ted Tynan (centre, back to camera) addressing comrades, friends and family of our late Comrade Denis O'Connor (Cork) at his graveside in St. Michael's Cemetery, Blackrock on the occasion of the first anniversary of his death. Workers Party members carry the coffin of their comrade Angie Murphy through Ringsend. Angie died on June 22nd after a long battle with illness. A double lung transplant patient, Angie never gave up fighting.
