Work on scaffold has completed moving up the Dome and repairs have begun in enclosed areas. This repair work includes lead paint removal, application of primer coat, cast iron repairs, new castings, epoxy filling of pits and voids in the cast iron surfaces and more. Details at www.aoc.gov/dome.

Had to grab some files from work. Whilst I was at it, grabbed a few frames of the sunset today - Saturday, 28th July 17:07:05.
What began as a blue sky day ended with this, a slight haze of smog on the horizon as the light faded.
