Windows are an important part of street photography for me. On the one hand, there are the interesting reflections, but also the confusion that sometimes arises and has to be resolved first. Fenster sind für mich in der Streetphotographie ein wichtiger Bestandteil. Zum einen sind da die interessanten Spiegelungen aber auch Verwirrungen, die es manchmal gibt und die erst einmal aufgelöst werden muss. I liebe es. I managed to do some garden work during my lunch break and Sethi helped until he had enough of leaves falling on his head. :)

Funny how it seems that though we should be trying to prop each other up and form a community there's usually someone working against others. Someone who feels like they aren't getting what they deserve or jealous or just downright ugly in their soul. These little ones were captured a week ago also, but the TransMontana of MMV ( flic.kr/p/2pDz1CE ) deserved to be released earlier. I watched these little flowers every morning while going to work, and hoped they will survive the week without wounds. On the end of the week they looked well enough for some bokeh pictures.

Once the latest-and-greatest, premier intermodal train power on the BNSF, the Dash 9s have since been demoted to more mundane tasks. Warbonnet #773 is seen at University with USTAEDU5-10A, almost blocking our view of an out-bound grainer leaving Northtown Yard.
Omnipresent and always there. It's hard to imagine life without the little mobile phone. It takes up several hours of our time every day.

I don't know what it was used for. Just thought it made an interesting shot tied up at the dock in the late afternoon light.

Iowa Interstate uses their Jordan Spreader to work the south side ditch along the mainline between Silvis and Carbon Cliff, IL.
IAIS 714 piloted the train due to the lengthy deadhead from Silvis to Bureau after this work was done.

With the primary grade crossings in Titusville now clear of snow and ice, 3568 continues on to work customers on the east side of town.

A Rio Grande GP40-2 pulls a train of Difco side dump cars through Spanish Fork Canyon at Castilla, Utah the afternoon of Feb. 14, 1988. With a locomotive on each end, the work train made multiple trips between a slag dump on the Geneva Pipemill Spur and the 1983 Thistle Line Change, dumping riprap along tracks to sure-up the right of way.
