Biography:
Having worked in a public mental health clinic for many years, when I got involved in photography, I was naturally drawn to documentary photography, particularly human suffering, social injustice and man's destructive nature. Hence, my projects on the homeless, the Holocaust, man's intrusion into Nature. The latter project led me into landscape photography: one project involved photographing the same tree over a period of year, a metaphor for our lives. More recently, with my interest in lumen prints I have become involved in fine art photography, although even there nature usually provides the source material.
CCSF Photography and You:
I love CCSF. I tell anyone who will less what an undiscovered gold mine it is. The instructors in the CCSF photo department couldn't be better. They are all accomplished photographers in their own right and dedicated teacher. They have taught me all I know about photography. Truly, they have opened my eyes and let me see the light. I am still learning; I am still looking, trying to see in ever new ways. I am thankful for their presence, their guidance, their patience and their contribution, not only to my photography, but to my life.
Work in progress. Assessments and quotes for windows and doors, tanking, woodworm and plastering.. The last guy mentioned £20 k to get the house up to scratch. I hope we can do it for a tad less..
And yes, this is made with icing! Folks were joking that the raccoons were going to love this later! ;p

My "office". Basically a glorified closet. I can't quite touch both side walls at the same time, but almost. I can certainly touch the desk hutch and those shelves on the left simultaneously.

Erice is on top of a hill beyond Trapani, and is reached by an enjoyable cable car ride which sweeps you up and down over mostly wild terrain with of course magnificent views of the sea. Its a small enclosed place with lots of interesting buldings, churches, castles, a park, a small museum etc.
I work for Yorkshire Ambulance Service on the RRVs in and around the city of Sheffield in South Yorkshire.
It’s a great job and I feel very honoured to be able to help people at their point of need.
