Yes, Crater Lake really IS blue. Really blue! This is wizard island, what's left of the ancient volcano peak.

Folded from a square of methyl-cellulose treated thin unryu-like paper, with metallic flecks. On closer inspection it looked like fine Tyvek- regular and smooth but tough.
And that's the last model of the book!

Older Creation, finally getting pictures
Hardly any photoshop in this. It was raining out, so my students and I went down to the basement and played with a flashlight and long exposures. There was an inch of water on the floor and it was pitch black. Our kind of place!
A quiet place where a young wizard lives...
In my opinion it's quite good, mainly because it's pentoganal. I wanted to build a whole dio for it. But there were many reasons why I didn't.
I hope you like it!
Constructive criticism is welcome!
Samantha's 7th birthday cake was inspired by her Wizards of Waverly Place party and table decorations. The blue and purple blended buttercream base of the cakes really made the abstract fondant accents pop off the cake!
I bought this odd little roly-poly wizard Santa for my mom years ago just because it's so different. I need a shot for the scavenger hunt of "sparkle". I'm not sure if this fills the bill or not.
This island is in Crater Lake National Park in Oregon. I was there in June and the snow had not yet melted.

This photograph comes from the movie Harry Potter and the prisoner of Azkaban. It is one of my favourite scenes, though it's very short and isn't of any matter to the story. I just like it that the wizard is enjoying coffee and that he is reading a 'muggle' book by Hawking. It is so funny and such a great detail to the movie! The wizard is the UK artist Ian Brown by the way!

An ode to all the old-school Dungeons & Dragons fans out there.
Your party has finally found the evil wizard you were tracking to his tower. He is cornered. No doubt concocting some diabolical potions in his library for the battle ahead.
Will you..
a) Rest
b) Full frontal attack up the cliff
c) Try to find a hidden door to the stinking sewers beneath the tower.. but what lies in wait in the dark wretched waters beneath Overlook Keep?
P.S. Can someone honestly tell me why they like my/this picture so much? I don't get it lol. I honestly think I've done better pictures and am interested to find out what everyone is seeing (especially the load of awards from the eye jewel group). Strange request I know.
