Wizard Island was created after Mount Mazama erupted violently approximately 7,700 years ago, forming its caldera which now contains Crater Lake. Following the cataclysmic caldera-forming eruption, a series of smaller eruptions over the next several hundred years formed several cinder cones on the caldera floor. The highest of these cones, the only one to rise above the current lake level, is Wizard Island, which rises over 2,700 feet (820 m) above the lowest point on the caldera floor and the deepest point in the lake.

Unfortunately I was unable to do the MM shot for this week. Goodness knows I tried. I finally admitted defeat this afternoon when I struggled endlessly to get it just right. I settled on taking a photo for another group I am in 52 Anonimos for legs.
Crater Lake National Park, Cascade Mountains, Oregon. I was absolutely amazed at how blue the water is here.
I'm on a roll with drop photography lately. This one is another refraction of a book cover in the BG. of "Wizards and Witches". the whitish area in the drops is his beard.
My wife has a wonderful collection of "The Enchanted World" it is a series of twenty-one books published in 1984-1987. Each book focused on different aspects of mythology, fairy tales or folklore, and all were released by Time-Life Books

Milkyway over Crater Lake on the Forth of July. It was a cold and windy forth with a lot of cloud movement. It did clear enough to capture the Milkyway. The orange glow on the clouds is light pollution from the Crater Lake Lodge.
Voigtlander Heliar 15mm F4.5 Aspherical III, four shot pano. Think this lens is a little too slow and noisy for MW shots.
Bug in the Sony A7R2 list the last lens used when switching to manual, non-electrical lens.

I was experimenting with films & developers around this time. The Pyrocat HD gives high definition for sure. (It's widely available here, I'm not sure about Europe.)

The Naboo N-1 Starfighter has always been one of my favorite ships in Star Wars. So when it appeared in the Book of Boba Fett, I instantly knew I had to build it! I started with Inthert's model from Brickvault and made some modifications to fit its run-down look in the series. Then one thing led to another and I started building this scene by bending walls out of 1x2 bricks.
