Islands of Adventure @ Universal Studios Florida
Themed well, still not Disney :) I love how the buildings are all slightly crooked and used forced perspective to really evoke a mood.
First Light with the AP 1100 GTO. I am truly impressed with its performance...everything just gets easier. The guiding was within one arc-second but there was still a little bit of star traveling in the images. At the end of the session, I realised, that the guider did not correct moves under 0.5 arc-seconds, I may reduce this tolerance.

This cat is actually an unfortunate wizard who once became curious what would it be like being a cat?
He brew the catifying potion and here he is! The loveliest wizard cat!
But he forgot to make an extra potion for going back to human form.
Now - with this little paws - he can't fetch another potion!
And poor little wizard has nothing to do but to wait until somebody helps him turning back :)

From a warm, humid afternoon getting attacked by mosquitoes, to a frigidly cold evening atop the granite peaks, it was a typical May evening doing astrophotography in the Sierras. I played with some light painting sequences for this composite image: one longer exposure taken for the Milky Way, a different exposure for light painting. The granite rock at the lower right reminded me of a wizard’s hat.

A Great Western 'Hall' on the West Coast Mainline, on the fast?
Needs some sort of magic for that to happen? And magic happens, as West Coast Railway's 'Hall' No. 5972 'Olton Hall', nowadays much better known as 'Hogwarts Castle', slips through Lichfield Trent Valley along the Up Fast' on 29th August 2006 working ECS from Carnforth Steamtown to Hornsey. The purpose of the working was not revealed, but it was believed to be in connection with filming another 'Harry Potter' motion picture. Copyright Photograph John Whitehouse - all rights reserved
I dreamt, a dream of an inverted scene, cast a spell of love and glory, found my soul in a reflection of dreams, magic it seem's, the wizard, alchemy, and the new golden age of dreams, kiss me now and wish me well for in the well of enchantments I was drawn, never to return to my own reflection, lost for time in the mirror of dreams........Tim Hopkins 2019. aka The Wizard at his Den......Best wishes Tim.

NGC 7380 (WIZARD)
Well this will be the last image until next moon cycle. The wizard nebula needs no introduction. I will say though I have been waiting to capture this one every night ive been pointing in the wizards direction only to get the horizon in my shot up until last night when the nebula parted above the horizon at the perfect time. may not be a fully traditional SHO image but i am enjoying this rendition so far. Enjoy!

The Wizard Nebula is located 7,000 lightyears from Earth in our Milky Way galaxy and is found in the constellation Cepheus. Star cluster NGC 7380 is embedded deep within the nebula, having only formed within the last 5 million years (the blink of an eye, in cosmic terms). This is an active star-forming region, and the stars in NGC 7380 unleash powerful streams of charged particles known as stellar winds that have sculpted the nebula into the wizard shape we see today.
