I recently did a facebook B&W challenge, posting one photo a day for 5 days. These are the images my choices, only the squirrel is a recent photo, all the others were taken at various times over the last few years.
Before tossing seventeen years of heavy magazines away (notice the bow of the shelf) I had to document them. On the left is the premiere issue of Wired and at the top is the very latest issue (they are placed in order, left to right). I just found a few more laying around the house but this photo should do for proper documentation.
By the looks of it, Wired's 8th year was their most profitable: each issue is much thicker (presumably with lots of ads and their revenue) than in any other year.
these electrical lines intersecting remind me of those sheets used in middle school to teach us complementary and supplementary angles
Editorial illustration for Wired. Hopefully this will be animated for the Ipad version of the magazine for future-folk and tin men to browse.

Went for a walk close to the burnt out hardware store on Beechwood today. At one point I looked up and couldn't believe the amount of wires connected to the one post!
This sculptured wire pendant has been made with cabachons in Jade and Paua shell, swaros, silver beads, tourmaline beads and absolutely miles of sterling silver wire. Measuring approximately 7cm by 3 1/2 cm it is a very solid pendant, with the green of the jade complimented beautifully by the colours of the paua shell. This was my first attempt at a sculptured wire pendant and I am thrilled with the result.
It is said that people are tapping electricity illegal from the wires on the street. Why were we not surprised?
