This is another shot from the winter wonderland at the 'Waldstein'. It was snowing all the time and we enjoyed walking there and taking pictures.
Winter holiday mornings with a view ...
Days when I actually have something beautiful to look at.
Exactly as my camera saw it, no adjustments at all.

Winter with fresh new snow combined with a colorful ending to the day makes for a contrasy and moody scene. It is not often we get to experience alot of snow in this part of Norway so close to the sealevel.

First walk for a while what with weather and winter lurgies and so on. Fortunately there was no wind, so even though it was a bit brisk, it was still a nice day for a walk.

Special thanks to Antony with help on the song
And it sure been a cold, cold winter
And the wind ain't been blowin' from the south
It's sure been a cold, cold winter
And a lotta love is all burned out
It sure been a hard, hard winter
My feet been draggin' 'cross the ground
And I hope it's gonna be a long, hot summer
And a lotta love will be burnin' bright
And I wish I been out in California
When the lights on all the Christmas trees went out
But I been burnin' my bell, book and candle
And the restoration plays have all gone 'round
Snowscape, winter landscape, frozen tundra, snow-covered landscape, winter wonderland...whatever your favorite term is to describe this photo, the beauty and peacefulness always remains the same. Snow covering everything is sight and bright blue skies are just picture perfect...

Tarra river in the middle of winter flowing through the land of the Gunaikurnai People.
It was cold, it was wet, but it was beautiful.
I've always loved these cold winter nights with the moon lighting the snow.

Winter's warmth can still be found on the coldest days. Of course down south, anything below 60 degrees Fahrenheit is considered cold. Let's keep things cold for a bit longer. Winter provides a wonderful palette to behold.
